Some FACTS:
Turbodrills utilize ‘packed’ stabilization
configurations.
High RPM’s plus low WOB turbodrilling
parameters make for a natural
dropping tendency.
Low WOB and packed stabilizers stop
the tool from ‘Bellying’ in the well bore
and producing angle.
Formation Dip issues? – use Steerable
turbodrill configurations
Steerable turbodrills use lower bend
angle due to superior toolface control.
