    If a permanent I) address is not assigned to the unit, it will attempt to contact the &*C) server every time itstarts up, and periodically thereafter. The unit support +eroconfiguration networing -sometimes nown ason/our0, this enables automatic discovery of computers, devices, and services on I) networs. 1eroconfiguration uses industry standard I) protocols to allow devices to automatically discover each otherwithout the need to enter I) addresses or configure &'( servers. y loading a suitable free addon to yourweb browser such as on/our for 2indows for Internet E!plorer or on/our3o!y for 3ire3o! +eroconfiguration devices such as this unit can easily be discovered and accessed.

    System SettingsThe menus under the (ystem (ettings heading allow the unit%s core settings to be viewed, changed and thesystem software upgraded.The Attributes option displays details about the unit including the I) address, unit serial number, 4ACaddress and software version.The (tatus page displays information about the unit%s operating condition, shows how long the unit has beenoperating and the reason for the last reset. It also shows the camera status.The 5anguage page allows the system language to be set. The language can also be changed for thecurrent session only.The Time and &ate page allows the unit time and date settings to be ad/usted, including setting thetime+one.The 3eatures page allows control of the different features that are available within the software includingcontrol of the display resolution.The 4aintain page allows the current configuration to be saved, and for previously saved settings to beloaded.

Email, remotereporting on alarm and 3T) download can also be configured, refer to the individual menus for furtherdetails.

    The 'etwor page allows configuration of the unit%s networ connections such as the name assigned to theunit and its I) address.

    The 5ive Trans-mission0 page enables ;)E8 and 4)E8 profiles to be created for transmitting images via a*igh, 4edium or 5ow quality networ connections to any viewing software or to another unit using this oneas an I) source.

    The 4ulticast page allows recordings from the unit%s camera input to be forwarded to a port address#enabling multiple viewers to view live data using a suitable media player without the need to directly connectto the unit.
