1 Software installation

1.1 Document descriptionThis document includes the download, installation and uninstallation of Common Package and Project Patch for

SmartRNO Tool. Also, will show you how to register and create a project.

1.2 Basic Concepts1.2.1 Common packageCommon Package means SmartRNO’s common version, including all publical and basic functions.

Each computer only need install the Common Packages one time, and the update of SmartRNO will be

implemented by Project Patch.

1.2.2 Project PatchProject Patch means the packages customized by each project, and apply to implement the customized

requirements. Project Patch is released by the owner of delivery

1.3 Installation1.3.1 Common Package Installationa. Check the size of Common Package

The size is 400M~500M，please check it after download to avoid the some installation errors caused by package

damage.

b. Installaiton

Double click the exe file:

Choose the path:

Click<Browse>to modify the path；click<Install>to start：

click<Close>to end.

1.3.2 UninstallationTwo options：by shortcut in “Start” menu or by install packages.

：1. This step will only uninstall SmartRNO,but will keep SmartRNO_RF data and KPIGeneral data，SQL and Framework4.0

(no need to delete them even you can)

2. After uninstallation by shortcut in “start”，next time if you want install again, will clear the registration information first

when you click to install.Only need two steps，without any impact on other components.

3. Must use the same version to uninstall if you choose uninstall by package.

4. The uninstall only apply to framework updates，if you want any customized functions, will be implemented by Project

Patch and no need uninstall SmartRNO.

1.3.3 Uninstall By ShortCut（recommended）Step1: Find the folder named Huawei Smart RNO in the Start menu and Click Uninstall Smart RNO.

Step2: Click <Yes>


Step3: Uninstall process


This dialog will close once uninstall finish.



Step4：Clear remain files.

Delete the SmartRNO folder in install path to prepare for installation again.

The default install path : C:\ProgramFiles\Huawei\SmartRNO

：Additional Instruction for uninstall by shortcut

After uninstall by shortcut in “start” menu, need double click the install package to finish the

additional uninstall function if install SmartRNO again.


This step is necessary if need install again，don’t remove other compotent，click “uninstall” button，and click the “close” after finished.




1.3.4 Uninstall by install package（non-recommended）Step1：Double click the package:

Step2：Click “Unistall” to start:

This step will only remove the SmartRNO’s framework and keep the project you create before login;


Step3：The successful message will be showed and click “close” to finish;




Step4：Remove the remain files.

Delete the SmartRNO folder in install path to prepare for installation again.

After finished, double click the package to install again.

：Run the software at the same time to perform the uninstall

if you usninstall the tool while use SmartRNO, there will be a dialog after the step2，choose the fisrt item to close the process，and try to start again after install again；click <OK> to continue Step3.


：Failure of the SmartRNO frame library to cover the installation



If you already install SmartRNO, and when you click install exe again, may face the problem below:


If the frame version haven’t been updated，click <Yes> to continue；If need update to new frame version，click <No> to rollback to the origin，run the uninstall process，then install the package again.

1.3.5 Install Project Patch

1.3.5.1 Project Patch Example:

click<OK>to finish.




There is a system message to create the new project before login the system.


2 Register, Login

2.1 With huawei account

a) Open SmartRNO, Click Register

b) Put in your information（* is required）.

Domain Username：domain username of huawei，such as: ywx154194/h0024561Password：you password of huawei accountEmail：email of huawei, for example：[email protected]：it is optional

c) Click <Save> to save your information

d) Then you can click Login after Create a project.

2.2 Without huawei account

a) Open SmartRno，Click <Login By License>

b) Copy ESN，send it to [email protected] to apply for license

Choose the license you applied then Login (after create a project)

3 Create a project

a) Click<New Project>

b) Name the projectName the project start with letters and combination of letters, numbers or underline.

c) Click <OK> when create project successfully.

d) LoginChoose Login use domain account or License.

Tip: Only need create a new project for one time if you use same patch, next time if you login, just login using the old project

4 Delete original project

Tool has the function to delete the original project.

After landing, click System->StockManagement.

At the StockManagement interface, click DataBase Delete

Select the project you need to delete, and click delete.
