Data Communication
• The Keybox communicates with
synchronization server which
hosts a local database for all
booking data.
• The synchronization server pulls
the vehicle booking data from the
main Smartfleet database.
• It also pushes the vehicle pickup
and return information back to the
main server

Pool Car User Function
A user begins the key box transaction
Logging into the system
– Initially typing username and password or
– Fingerprint reader.
Login user can perform three functions:
Pickup Vehicle keys.
– This function is enabled only after the user has a valid vehicle
booking during pre-set pickup time period.
Return Vehicle Keys.
– This function is enabled when the user with a incomplete
booking to return a key.
Fingerprint Features.
– This function will help user to register fingerprints for secure
and convenient access to the key box.
Pool Car Manager Functions
Pool Car Manager has three extra menu options specifically for the Vault management.
Parameters.
– Enables the Pool Car Manager to set or reset the length of time
for key collection.
Key Management.
– Enables the Pool Car Manager to assign or un-assign a vehicle
for a selected key tag, or release a key tag without a booking.
Mass Key Release.
– This function only applies under emergency situations when it
is required to remove all hanging keys within a short time
