a Transfer Advisor. Please feel free to bring questions you have regarding transferring to other colleges!

Spring & Summer Course Registration – priority registration begins 11/10/14. o You need to get clearance from someone before

you can register for classes. Your assigned faculty advisor is your best option and they are listed on your MyNCC account under "My academic information". If you have difficulty scheduling with them before the date you can register, you can go to the Advising office in College Center 341 to try and get an appointment with one of the Academic Advisors there. If they are all filled up for appointments, you can stop in during "walk-in" advising which means that you will sign up on a list and wait until a walk-in advisor is available. The wait time for walk-in advising varies. You could be met with very quickly or it may take some time.

Spring Leadership Class applications are available in the Student Life Office (CC252). The deadline to apply will be 11/25.

USA and Coca-Cola Scholarships - Students with a 3.5 GPA or above and who have completed at least 35 credits can compete for multiple scholarships offered through Phi Theta Kappa (PTK) at https://my.ptk.org/edge/. PTK members may log in using their PTK username and password. Non-members may “Create an Account” on the login page to access the application.Apps are due by 11/16 for the all USA and Coca-Cola Scholarships, and by 12/1 for other scholarships. Info sessions will be held in Kapp Hall Room 109 at 11 on 11/4, and in the library classroom on the Main Campus at 11 on 11/4 and 5 on 11/5.

Have you met with Christina Turissini yet? Christina is meeting with the SMaRT Scholars individually during a time that works for them. She has met with or scheduled an upcoming meeting with all but 8 of the scholars. If you are one of those eight, email Christina (cturissini@northampton.edu) as soon as possible with the days and times you are typically available each week.

Lutron Info Session: Thursday 11/13 in College Center Rm 290 from 11am-12:30pm. They will be discussing their company and several job and internship opportunities they are looking to fill soon. Will potentially be doing on-campus interviews that afternoon. Attend if you want info on this great local company.

o Bring along a copy of your most updated resume. If you want to have one reviewed, I suggest emailing it to career@northampton.edu today with subject line "resume review for 11/13/14 Lutron presentation". Because this is short notice, you may not be able to get your resume reviewed in time by Career Services but it won't hurt to ask them or someone else you trust to take a look at it.

o I strongly suggest that you dress professionally to make a good impression with Lutron!
