SMART PHONES ARE A SOCIAL NIGHTMARE!!!

INTRODUCTION

• Smart phones have taken the world by storm

• With there cool build in systems

• Elegant design and endless applications

• But there is a dark side to these somewhat arousing devises

• A diseases that spread almost as fast as they do!!!

: SMART PHONES MAKE KIDS "ANTI-SOCIABLE“.• A COMMON LINE USE BY EDUCATORS AND PARENTS A LIKE BUT HOW VALIDE IS THIS

ARGUMENT

• CELL PHONES ALLOW US TO COMMUNICATE FASTER BUT NOT MORE EFFECTIVELY.

• TEXTING INVOLVES USING MANY THREE- WORD ABBREVIATIONS IN MESSAGES OR IMS, WHICH CAN LEAD TO MISCOMMUNICATION.

• SOMETHING THAT MOST EDUCTOR WOULD ARGURE HAS CAUSED KIDS TO LOSE THE ABILITY TO WRITE OR ENGAGE IN PUBLIC SPEAKING

• IT'S ALSO DIFFICULT TO GAUGE THE REAL EMOTION BEING EXPRESSED IN SUCH A SHORT FORMAT. TEXT MESSAGING IS ALSO SO IMPERSONAL.

• THE USE OF IMS THEM SELVES IS OFTEN DEBATED AS THEY CAN CAUSE MISS COMMUNICATE

• HOW MANY TIMES HAVE WE RECEIVED IMS THAT WE EITHER DO NOT UNDERSTAND OR THAT WE MISUNDERSTAND NOT TO MENTION THE TIME IT TAKES TO DECRYPT THE IMS

SMART PHONES AND MEETINGS • This is one of the most ultimate displays of disrespect

• Unfortunately people who use smart phones in meetings aren’t always lower-level employees;

• often, they’re managers and leaders. Just think about it leadership sets the tone for what’s appropriate and what’s not, and employee often follow their lead. ,

• if u were an employee or if you are an employee how would you perceive that person as well as the importance of the meeting?

• Employees interpret leaders using their phone and not paying attention to what’s being said and that they do not care about what is being said

• the person speaking or presenting will likely feel pretty lousy and worthless while this is happening and this will sow the seed of very bad moral in the business

• Lets not even discuss smart phones and DATING!!!!

ANOTHER COMMON PROBLEM WITH SMART PHONES • This is a common stable seen in most Hollywood teen flicks but it is a virus that has

infected just about every learning facility

• A national poll was taken (probably in America) that was called a common sense poll

• some of the results should be alarming to teachers and parents. The poll showed that about 65% of the kids polled said that they had heard and seen other kids using their smartphone to get answers for their exams.(they were to cowardly to admit they had some of them had also done it

• The days of crib notes are all but done smart phones are the new medium of the proz

• Due to built in pass words and with the aid of applications like faccebook what could be better for cheats

• If you get caught just lock your phone!!!!!

COST OF SMART PHONES • For phones this smart you’d think they would have a

smart way to drop there price • But “surprisingly” they haven't!!!!!!! • Think only thing hotter than a smart phone is there

price!!• Not to mention that this phones are never really used for

phoning but to:• Play games ,text, watch movies be it pg13 or other wise!• So it just a distraction for work and other social activities

there just anti productive

HEALTH RISKS

• Smart phone are prone to over use so people are susceptible to many diseases

• The British Association of Dermatologists warns that overuse of cell phones may cause people to get contact dermatitis.

• “mobile phone dermatitis”, as it is called is actually a skin rash on cheek and ear triggered by allergic reaction to nickel.

• 30% of UK population is allergic to nickel ( phones have a lot of nickel….)

• Most victims are women who get the allergy from wearing nickel-containing bijouterie.

CONCUSSION• Smart phones are counter productive

• The cause health risks

• Increase cheating in schools

• And in a poll done not to long ago 90% of managers said it is disrespectful to have phones in meetings

• So in term of social production and social communication phones have a negative influence
