Acoustic hindrance is one of the most complained about topics in the work environment. Improved acoustic properties help to increase concentration and productivity.

For additional acoustic properties, we can offer a special backing for Flotex tiles that increases the impact sound reduction by 3dB to a total of 22dB, substantially enhancing acoustic performance where a calm and quiet environment is highly important.

Flotex Acoustic Plus offers a good sound absorption rate of 0.25 dB, which is comparable to most commonly used carpet sheet and tiles. Alongside sound absorption, Flotex Acoustic Plus also offers a very good shock absorption rate. This is relevant for areas where people are standing for a long time and underfoot comfort is important, such as retail spaces.

Acoustic Plus backing is available as a stocked item in Metro Grey T746006. All other colours are made to order with a minimum order quantity of 700m².
