1 HPE Smart CID v4.2 Release Notes New workloads and business demands require infrastructure that is faster and more efficient. Conven-tional IT architecture creates silos and complexity because of multiple products and tools that lack interoperability. HPE ConvergedSystems meets today’s business and IT needs by bringing servers, stor-age, networking and management software together - engineered to work as one single converged sys-tem.

The result is simplified, yet powerful IT that is energy and space efficient, less expensive, and aligns to meet the needs of the business for any workload at any scale. HPE ConvergedSystems are tightly-inte-grated to help reduce deployment errors along with operational and maintenance costs.

When ordering for a custom or pre-configured converged system, HPE Sales, Solution Architects and technical contacts from customers put together a Customer Intent Document (CID) that contains sys-tem requirements and configuration information. This information is used by HPE to build the system according to specifications in the CID.

Smart CID is the web version of CID that allows you to customize and order pre-configured HPE Con-vergedSystems faster and easier. The tool allows you to select a system, select a configuration and enter relevant details and order a custom and pre-configured system.

FeaturesFollowing are the feature highlights:

• Web-based: Smart CID is web-based and can be accessed from a browser. It is a single place to store and retrieve all information instead working with multiple versions shared over email.

• Simplified experience: Smart CID has built-in validations to ensure that the information entered is complete and accurate.

• It provides default values for hostnames, IP addresses and passwords to make the CID process faster and more efficient.

• The inline help is context-aware. It progressively discloses the required information – guiding users to provide the right data in the right field.

• User friendly and intuitive interface: Smart CID’s intuitive and user friendly interface makes it easy to enter all CID information in one place. The interface is similar to other HPE management tools like HPE OneView.

What’s new in this versionThis version of Smart CID has the following features:

• Offline CID, a desktop version of smart CID is introduced to create CIDs in offline mode. It has all the features, rules and validations as Smart CID.

• A new Comment option is added in the Submit for review. It enables a user to provide comments when reviewing in the CID life cycle.

New features in CS500 for SAP HANAThe following new features have been introduced for HPE ConvergedSystem 500 for SAP HANA:

• A new option, Data replication, is added in HANA DB form. It enables a user to select the following:

• Location from primary site and secondary site.

• Replication mode from Sync, Mem-Sync, and Full Sync.

• Operation Mode from Log Reply and Delta Shipping

• A new DIMM size, 128GB, is added for Skylake. It supports the following configuration:

• Processor types: 8176M (2.1GHz) and 8180M (2.5GHz),

• Storage Option: 12 x 3.2TB SSD (RAID-50)

• Memory Type: Uniform DIMM

• CPU Socket: 2S and 4S

• Memory Slots: 24 and 48

• Appliance Memory: Based on the values selected in the Memory slots and Memory slots fields, the value of the Appliance Memory is calculated and displayed. For example, for 2S CPU Socket, Memory Slot is 24, DIMM size is 128GB, and Appliance memory is 3TB.

• A new Memory Type, Mixed DIMM (16GB,32GB), is added for Skylake. It supports the following con-figuration:

• Processor types: 8176 (28Core, 2.1GHz) and 8180 (28Core, 2.5GHz)

• Storage Option: 6(HDD) + 2(SSD) and 13(HDD) + 3(SSD)

• Memory Type: Mixed DIMM

• CPU Socket: 2S and 4S

• Memory Slots: 24 and 48

• Appliance Memory: Based on the values selected in the Memory slots and Memory slots fields, the value of the Appliance Memory is calculated and displayed. For example, for 4S CPU Socket, Memory Slot is 48, DIMM size is 16GB,32GB, and Appliance memory is 1152GB.

• HANA DB information in CS500 is now enhanced and moved to the appliance details section. The HANA DB section is displayed on dashboard only when Hana Installation and OS revision are selected in the appliance details section. This feature is applicable only for active CIDs created previ-ously.

• HPE Smart CID supports RHEL 7.3, SLES 12.2 for Skylake.

• A new option, logreplay readonly, is added in HANA DB for Broadwell.

• A new option, Delta Data Shipping, is added in HANA DB for both Broadwell and Skylake.

General Notes• Smart CID does not check the validity of HPE Sales Order number and HPE Sales Quote number.

Ensure that you enter the correct order and quote numbers in HPE Contact Info section.

• HPE Smart CID sends notification mails to customers only when a CID is created or submitted.

Notes for CS500 and CS900The following notes are applicable for HPE ConvergedSystem 500 for SAP HANA and HPE Con-vergedSystem 900 for SAP HANA:

• Super user access displays CIDs from all regions. To view a CID for any region, enter region in the search box.

• For HPE CS500 v4.0, it is mandatory to enter the timezone information in the HANA DB section.

• For HPE CS500 v4.0, primary and secondary virtual IPs cannot be duplicated in the Serviceguard configuration.

• When you update information in Rack Layout (for Granular configuration), ensure that you open and save the Network form again to regenerate default values. Depending on the change, Smart CID may need additional information in the Network section before the CID can be submitted.

• Insight Remote Support (IRS) is not available for HPE CS500 v2.0.

• When ordering for a system that has DR (Data Replication) enabled, enter a valid DR order number in the HANA DB section. This is different from the HPE order number. DR systems need a separate DR order number.

• When setting time zones, ensure that you select the same time zone in the Networking and HANA DB sections.

• In the HANA DB section, the default values for the HANA system is Default. This word is case sen-sitive. Do not change this value.

• In the HANA DB section, when selecting Language, enter a language that SAP HANA installation supports. If you enter a language that is not supported by SAP HANA, the default language, English, will be used.

• In the HANA DB section, only the multi container option is displayed for HANA 2.0.

• In the HANA DB section, do not use the following reserved values when entering SAP HANA SID:

• ADD, ALL, AMD, AND, ANY, ARE, ASC, AUX, AVG, BIT, CDC, COM, CON, DBA, END, EPS, FOR, GET, GID, IBM, INT, KEY, LOG, LPT, MAP, MAX, MIN, MON, NIX, NOT, NUL, OFF, OLD, OMS, OUT, PAD, PRN, RAW, REF, ROW, SAP, SET, SGA, SHG, SID, SQL, SUM, SYS, TMP, TOP, UID, USE, USR, and VAR.

Notes for CS700 for VirtualizationThe following notes are applicable for HPE ConvergedSystem 700 for Virtualization:

• Searching for the string “CS 700 for Virtualization 2.5+ November 2017 release VMware Multi Rack” does not return any result. Use the string “CS 700 for Virtualization” instead to list CS700 configura-tions.

• Validation of duplicate hostnames and IP addresses is not supported in this release. Ensure that you enter unique hostnames and IP addresses in the Network section.

• When you open the Excel file generated from Summary View, Excel displays an alert related to the file’s extension. This is because Microsoft Excel files have a *.xlsx extension and the Smart CID file has a *.xls extension. Click Yes to open the file. Save the file as <CID-Number>.xlsx.

Fixes in Smart CID v4.1• When submitting a CID for review with lengthy review comments, an error message is displayed.

This issue is now fixed.

Issues and WorkaroundsThis section describes issues and workarounds for HPE Smart CID.

Issue

Smart CID does not display content correctly in non-English browsers.

Workaround

Modify the browser language to English before accessing Smart CID. For Microsoft Internet Explorer, navigate to the Compatibility View Settings section and select the Display intranet sites in Compatibility View check box.

Issue

There is a known compatibility issue with some newer versions of Google Chrome and HPE Smart CID application. Users may experience unresponsive pages or an ‘Aw, Snap!’ message on Google Chrome.

Workaround

HPE recommends you to use Microsoft Internet Explorer until this known issue is fixed.

Issues and Workarounds - CS700 for VirtualizationThis section lists issues and workarounds for HPE ConvergedSystem 700 for Virtualization.

Issue

Microsoft Excel displays an alert when you open the Excel file (<CID-Number.xls>) downloaded from Summary View.

Workaround

Click Yes to open the file and save the file as <CID-Number>.xlsx. The alert is displayed because Microsoft Excel opens files with *.xlsx extension by default. Smart CID exports CID information in the *.xls format.

Issues and Workarounds - OfflineCIDIssue

When the Offline CID URL is entered in Internet browser, https:// is not automatically appended to the URL.

Workaround

Enter complete URL https://localhost:18080/ manually. This issue will be fixed in the next version.

When MariaDB is already installed and present, the login does not work as expected.

Workaround

Install the MariaDB after login to the Offline CID.

What’s new in Smart CID v4.1This version of Smart CID introduces a new appliance HPE ConvergedSystem 700 for Virtualization v2.5+ November 2017 release.

This version of Smart CID has the following features:

• A new option, Import, is introduced to import CID. To import the CID, complete the following:

• In Start a new CID page, Click Import.

• In the Import CID window, click Choose File, select the file and Import.


• HPE Smart CID supports the Serviceguard classification for HPE ConvergedSystem 500 v5.0 for SAP HANA (Skylake).

• A new option, logreplay readonly, is added in HANA DB for HPE ConvergedSystem 500 v5.0 for SAP HANA (Skylake).

• In HANA DB, validation checks have been added for selecting the correct SPS versions for HPE Con-vergedSystem 500 v5.0 for SAP HANA (Skylake).

• Smart CID has moved logging in and authentication for Customers and Partners to HPE Passport.

• A new option, Submit for Review, is introduced to send a CID for review after all the CID details are entered. This option is available on the CID dashboard. To send a CID for review, click Actions and then click Submit for Review.

New features in CS900 for SAP HANAThe following features are introduced for HPE ConvergedSystem 900 for SAP HANA:

• HPE Smart CID supports the installation of HANA DB 2.0 for HPE CS900 for SAP HANA v4.0.


• Smart CID has added the Logout option for Customers and Partners.

• HPE Smart CID supports the following new configurations:

• When a CID is submitted, Smart CID now checks the output XML file against the HPE Con-vergedSystem 900 schema XML Schema Definition (XSD) values to ensure that the generated out-put file is valid. This is useful when the system is configured at the Integration Centers.

What’s new in Smart CID v2.2.2This version of Smart CID has the following features:

• HPE Smart CID now supports the option to get customer information from the database for the Cus-tomer Info and HPE Contact sections. If the customer information and contact details are entered for any other CID, they are available as a drop-down menu. You can select the option and the entire cus-tomer contact information section is filled with related data.


• The Smart CID dashboard is changed for HPE ConvergedSystem 500 and HPE ConvergedSystem 900. A new section called Appliance Details has been introduced. The Appliance Details section con-tains details about the appliance. In the Appliance details section, you can also use the appliance size option to specify the size of the appliance at any time.

• The HPE Passport ID number is introduced in the Customer Info section for HPE ConvergedSystem 500 and HPE ConvergedSystem 900.

• HPE Smart CID now supports the Dual Purpose and Dual Purpose with HPE Serviceguard classifica-tions for HPE ConvergedSystem 900 v3.0.

• HPE Smart CID now supports the HPE Serviceguard classification for HPE ConvergedSystem 900 v4.0.

What’s new in Smart CID v2.2This version of Smart CID has the following new features:

• Smart CID now supports Deal Specific Requirements (DSRs). In the Customer Info section, a field has been introduced to identify a deal specific CID. An option to enter a DSR ID is also available. Profile CIDs page, that lists all CIDs, now has an additional Yes/No entry for DSRs. DSR fields are available for all ConvergedSystem solutions (CS500, CS900 and CS700).

• On the Profile CIDs page, a new feature has been introduced to sort the list of CIDs. Click the column header to list data either alphabetically or numerically in the ascending or descending order.

Note: Some users may not view a newly created CID when sorting the list of CIDs on Profile CIDs. See “Issues and Workarounds” on page 12. for a work around.

New features in CS700 for VirtualizationThe following new features have been introduced for HPE ConvergedSystem 700 for Virtualization 2.0:

• SAN switch support has been introduced for single rack systems. This option enables the Storage module to be integrated with the single rack solution.

• Support for Broadwell processor has been introduced in this release.

• Option to specify the primary Power Distribution Unit (PDU) for the compute rack has been intro-duced in this release.

Note: All these options are available in the Order Questionnaire in the Hardware Related Questions sec-tion. Depending on your selection in the questionnaire, Smart CID displays respective fields in the Network and CloudSystem sections.

• Option to select a physical service processor or a virtual service processor has been introduced in this release. This is available in the Order Questionnaire in the Storage Related Questions section.

• The Passwords section has been updated with additional passwords for ESXi Management hosts and Virtualization hosts root accounts. All default passwords are auto-generated. You can edit the passwords to customize it. However, the updated password does not work when validating the solu-tion at the Integration Center, the original default password will be used for validation.

• In the Storage section, option to specify proxy server details has been introduced. You can specify the following information for the proxy server in the Storage section. This information is optional.

New features in CS 500 for SAP HANAThe following new features have been introduced for HPE ConvergedSystem 500 for SAP HANA:

• Enhanced support for Multitenant Container Databases (MCDs). The Multitenant container data-base user interface is now enhanced to support separate OS user name, group name and group number for each tenant database.

• HTML report - All information of the CID is now available in an HTML file. Download the report from the Output Files section.

New features in CS 900 for SAP HANAThe following new features have been introduced for HPE ConvergedSystem 900 for SAP HANA:

• Cloning for CS900 v4.0 is now available in Smart CID.

• The following new fields have been introduced in the Network Common Information section for CS900 v4.0:

• Daylight Saving Time (DST) (optional) - Select this option to set the DST offset for applicable devices. To enable DST, select Yes, and specify the following:

• Memory calculator - The HANA DB section now has a memory calculator to help users to calculate values for memory utilization when entering HANA DB information. The memory calculator is avail-able in HANA DB section.


• HPE ConvergedSystem 900 for SAP HANA v4.0 supports Scale up configuration only. It supports Dual Purpose classification only if the classification is 8 sockets or 16 sockets.

• By default, Smart CID auto-generates 12 default networks with default values. Smart CID allows you to customize each of default networks and if required, edit the default values for each network. You


can customize, rename or update any network. The following is a list of values that are auto-gener-ated by Smart CID and can be customized based on customer environment:

• Network name

• VLAN ID

• VLAN name

• IPv4 network prefix (IP address)

• Subnet CIDR

• Uplink Interface

• Smart CID allows you to add new networks or remove an existing default network that is not appli-cable. HPE ConvergedSystem 900 can support up to 16 customizable networks.

• HANA DB section for CS900 now allows you to enter additional databases depending on the num-ber of partitions.

New features in Smart CID v2.0• Smart CID now supports HPE ConvergedSystem 700 for Virtualization. The following solution

types are available for HPE CS700:

• Foundation Kit (single rack and Multi rack)

• VMware Kit (single rack and multi rack)

• Hyper-V Kit (single rack and multi rack)

• HTTPS - HTTPS has been implemented for Smart CID.

• Upload a file - A new option to attach or upload files has been introduced in this version. Files can be uploaded from the navigation panel. See the Smart CID User Guide for detailed instructions.

• Re-open a submitted CID – A new option has been introduced to change the status from Submit-ted to Active. This option is available only for users with administrative privileges. This is available on the CID dashboard in the Actions link. Send an email to [email protected] for adminis-trative privileges.

• Archive a submitted CID – A new option has been introduced to archive a submitted CID. This option is available in the Actions link. Archiving a CID removes the CID from the Profiles CIDs list to the Archived CID list.

• Search – Search has been implemented in this version. This is available on the Profile CID page. Users can search for CIDs using search strings like CID number, customer name, and solution name.

What’s new in CS500 and CS900The following new features have been introduced for in HPE ConvergedSystem 500 for SAP HANA and HPE ConvergedSystem 900 for SAP HANA sections in Smart CID:

• Option to access output files has changed. Output files and HTML report are now available from the navigation panel. In addition to the auto generated files, a zip file, <CID_Number>.zip is also created that has all the files in it.

• A new option to select a virtual rack is introduced in Rack Layout for CS500. This option is recom-mended when customers do not want a physical rack.

• A new option to specify public NTP server addresses is introduced in the Common Network Infor-mation section.



• A new question to select instance pre-installation has been added in SAP HANA. After you select the OS distribution and the SAP HANA revision, you can specify if you need the instance pre-instal-lation.

• HTML report and the output configuration files are now available in the navigation panel. These are available only after the CID is submitted.

• Extra 3PAR count and information is now available in the dashboard.

New features in Smart CID v.1.2.1• Smart CID now supports the following new configurations:

• RHEL 6.6 is now supported for HP ConvergedSystem CS 500 v3.0 Dual Purpose systems.

• HPE Serviceguard is now supported for HPE ConvergedSystem CS 500 v3.0 Dual Purpose sys-tems.

• RHEL 6.6 is now supported for HPE ConvergedSystem CS 900 v3.0 (Gen 3.0).

• VSR settings now displays the user defined hostname for RMC.


• For CS500, the HTML view displays correct Operating mode and Factory preinstall selection for Dual Purpose instances.

• For CS500, the HTML view displays correct Primary network information.

• For CS500, the formula for calculating memory is updated as per the new SAP HANA rules.



• For CS900, the Passwords section has been updated with new passwords for OA, iLO, SAN and both switches (5900 and 6125X switches).

• For CS900, Summary has been updated with the correct HANA information.

• In the output XML files, bonding parameters have been updated.

• The issue of allowing using underscores ( _ ) and periods ( . ) in hostnames has been restricted. Smart CID does not allow underscores and periods in hostname fields. Only alphabets (A-Z/a-z) and hyphens ( - ) are allowed in hostnames.

Fixes in Smart CID v2.0The following section lists fixes in this release:

• Browser compatibility issues with Internet Explorer has been fixed for HPE ConvergedSystem CS900 v3.0.

• Search has been removed from the CID dashboard. It is only available on the Profile CIDs page.

• Error messages, that are displayed when submitting a CID, have been updated to display the correct and exact missing information in each section.


• In HANA DB, the minimum and maximum values that are displayed in the memory utilization fields have been removed. These values have been added as a table in HANA DB.

• The issue of underscore ( _ ) in iLO hostnames has been fixed. Smart CID does not allow usage of underscore in the iLO hostname.


• For HPE ConvergedSystem CS500 v3.0 max scale out configuration, the default number of racks in Rack Layout is set to 4.

• Validation for the number of racks and servers has been fixed for HPE ConvergedSystem CS500 v2.0 granular scale out configuration.

• Validation for the gateway IP address has been fixed. Smart CID now validates the gateway IP address against the subnet IP address to ensure that the gateway IP address belong to the same subnet.

• Validation for OS versions for HANA DB has been fixed. Smart CID now checks OS versions of pri-mary instance of HANA DB and Dual-Purpose HANA DB and displays an error if they are different.

• In Passwords, the 3PAR console SSMC field is now updated for all older CIDs.

• In Network section, customer IP count is calculated and auto-populated based on the number of devices in that network.

• NFS and HANA Internal network sections have been removed from Network.

Fixes in Smart CID v1.2.1• Smart CID now displays the complete name of the system and its configuration on the dashboard.

• For HPE ConvergedSystem CS 900 v3.0, the device name for Management External Network is changed to RC01-LAN-SWITCH-BOT.

• For RHEL CIDs, the auto generated network file now contains only the hostname. Earlier, the net-work file listed the Fully Qualified Domain Name (FQDN).

• In the Network section, when the first IP address for device configuration for each network is changed or updated, Smart CID now updates the Subnet IP address automatically.

• For Dual Purpose systems, location for Data Replication can now be set for primary or secondary site.

• 1.5 TB memory size placeholder issue in HANA DB is fixed.

• For HPE ConvergedSystem CS500 v3.0, in Machine Information section, you can now select 4 sock-ets and node size of 2 TB. Selecting this option automatically checks and validates memory size in HANA DB.

Fixes in Smart CID v1.2• Smart CID now allows users to enter hostnames and IP addresses for devices in Shared networks.

• Entering HANA DB information is now sequential. Options to enter SAP system name and other details for the second and third instances are available only after details of the primary instance of HANA are entered.

• Memory utilization is now checked and validated only after values are entered for all instances of HANA.

• Time zone issue in Network section is fixed. Earlier, in some cases, selecting a time zone did not allow saving Network information.

• In HANA DB, validation for all fields has been removed when the operation mode is None.

• The limitation on the character length of hostnames is now resolved. Earlier, hostnames were limited to 13 characters. This limitation has been updated and hostnames can now be more than 13 charac-ters.


• DP is now changed to Dual Purpose. DP has now changed to Dual Purpose and the primary instance of a Dual Purpose system is the HANA DP instance.

• Color coding for networks is now updated to match the Microsoft Visio setup diagram.

• The default username for 59XX network switch is changed to admin.

• The default password for 3PAR console SSMC is updated to HP1nv*nt.• Smart CID report is now enhanced for better readability.

Fixes in Smart CID v1.1.2• Smart CID now validates the value of instance memory in HANA DB against the 1.5 TB node size

option in Machine Information.

• Time zones in HANA DB and Common Network Information for cloned CIDs are automatically cop-ied from the original CIDs. Earlier, you had to manually update the time zones in both sections after cloning a CID.

• Option to disable disk encryption in Machine Information has been added.

• Host names in Storage network and Internal network sections are now editable. Earlier, the default usernames were locked for editing.

• Physical Connections section in each network is now updated to the following options:

• 1000BaseT Ethernet RJ45

• 40/10Gbps QSFP+/SFP+ with optional 10Gbps SR Fiber SC

• The issue of domain names appended to the DNS and NTP servers in the etc/hosts file is now fixed.

• Localhost entries for IPV4 and IPV6 are now added in the /etc/hosts output file.

Fixes in Smart CID v1.1.1• When creating a new CID, Smart CID does not open the Customer Info window by default. It is no

longer mandatory to enter this information when creating a new CID. You can enter or update this information before submitting the CID.

• Default value for Region in the Customer Contact section is now set to Select a Region.

• In HANA DB, for Dual purpose scale out systems, option to select RHEL has been removed.

• Hostnames are now assigned based on the primary network. If you select Management network as the primary network, the hostname specified here is populated in the configuration files.

• You can now view CIDs based on regions. Log in using the region specific login ID to view CIDs that are specific only to that region. The following table lists the login IDs to use to view region-wise CIDs. Send an email to [email protected] for passwords.

Fixes in Smart CID v1.1• Validation of duplicate hostnames across different sections has been fixed. Smart CID now checks

for hostnames across sections (for example, HANA DB, Network and 3PAR Info sections) and alerts users if hostnames are identical.

• Validation of duplicate SAP system name in HANA DB and DP (Dual Purpose) HANA DB sections has been fixed. Smart CID now checks for SAP system name in HANA DB and DP HANA DB sections, and alerts users if SAP system names are identical.

• CID summary now displays Region in the Customer Information section.

• In the Rack Layout section, validation has been added to ensure that users cannot enter 0 (zero) in the fields for number of racks and number of servers.

• Extra 3PAR section is not applicable for non-DP systems. When creating a CID for non-DP systems, the Extra 3PAR section is not displayed.

• Standby server is not applicable for scale up configuration. This option is not displayed in the HANA DB section when creating a CID for scale up systems.

• Validation for SAP system number in HANA DB has been added for Dual purpose systems. When you enter the SAP system number (for example, 22) in the primary HANA instance, Smart CID does not allow you to enter the next number (23) as SAP system number in DP HANA DB.

Fixes in Smart CID v1.0.2• In Networking, sharing rules have been implemented to ensure that networks are shared logically.

• In Networking, value of subnet is now auto populated based on the system IP address and netmask. IP addresses of a network are now checked to ensure that they belong to same network subnet.

• In HANA DB, for non-production systems, the tool validates for instances memory to ensure that the sum of all instances does not exceed 90% of the total memory.

• In Networking, the tool now allows CIDR suffixes from /1 to /32 for DNS and NTP servers. Earlier, only /8, /16, /24 and /32 were allowed.

• In IRS, hostnames and proxy server names can have names that are lesser than 6 characters (root, for example).

• Extra 3PAR is not applicable for scale up systems. When configuring for scale up systems, this sec-tion is not displayed on the dashboard.

• Validation for iLO has been added. A user cannot submit a CID without entering iLO details.

• Validation for iLO hostname has been updated. Smart CID now supports up to 25 characters includ-ing “-” (hyphen) for the iLO hostname.

• Network validations have been updated. Smart CID does not validate or check for private IPs.

• When entering information for Dual Purpose systems, entering DR information is mandatory. The default value for DR has been changed from No to Yes. The No option in DR is disabled for Dual Purpose systems.

• Scale up systems can now be configured for non-production environments. In the HANA DB section, an option to configure a system for a non-production environment has been added.

Fixes in Smart CID v1.0.1• Profile CIDs are now displayed by names of systems and their configuration.


• Phone number fields in all contact forms are now updated to the international format:

• + [Country Code] [Area Code] [Phone Number]

• Validation of duplicate IP addresses has been fixed. The tool checks for duplicate IP addresses across forms to ensure that there are no duplicate IP addresses. However, the tool allows entering the same IP address for DNS server and NTP server. Verify all the IP addresses manually and ensure that IP addresses are unique across forms.

• Gateway IP is now checked to validate if it belongs to local subnet. Subnet is now auto calculated based on provided netmask.

• In HANA DB, in testing, development or other environments, you can now specify pre-installation revisions for the optional instances. This was not available in the earlier version.

• The issue of the HANA DB form loading data consistently has been resolved. The form now loads the correct information.

• The labels for Passwords and Rack Layout sections have been changed from Edit to Confirm.

• When creating a new CID, you can now have the same HPE order number or SAP order number for 2 or more CIDs. Earlier, duplicate order numbers were not allowed.

• 3PAR Remote Access and Insight Remote Support sections are independent of each other. Earlier, entering information in the 3PAR Remote Support required IRS to be enabled. This has been fixed. You can now enter 3PAR Remote Access even if IRS is not enabled.

• In HANA DB, the SAP User IDs and the SAP Group IDs now support values up to 2^64.

• In HANA DB, SAP User IDs and Group IDs are not compared against each other. They can have the same value. User IDs are compared with other User IDs only and Group IDs are compared with other Group IDs only. Earlier User ID and Group ID were compared and could not have the same value.

• In DP systems, optional instances cannot be configured for primary sites.

• The tool now validates Web proxy server port names to ensure that decimal numbers cannot be entered.
