Annotations with Ink Aware and MS Office Applications

Accessing Digital Ink Aware

1. Open the application you wish to use.

2. Open the Floating Toolbar by tapping the double arrows and select a pen tool or pick a pen from the tray.

Saving Your Images

1. Click on the camera.2. Images will automatically be sent to an open Notebook file.3. To use images elsewhere, right­click and save/copy to a new location.

Importing Power Points

1. Save your Power Point presentation as PDF file, and then drag the PDF file onto a SMART Notebook page. SMART Notebook saves each Power Point slide as a separate page.

To save your presentationas a PDF file and drag it into SMART Notebook

1. Open your presentation in PowerPoint software, and then select File > Print. The Print dialog box appears.

2. Select PDF > Save as PDF, and then follow the on­screen instructions to save your presentation as a PDF file.

3. Drag the PDF file onto your SMART Notebook page.Each PowerPoint slide appears as a SMART Notebook page.
