2/031, Lisbane Settlement Map.
The Settlement Limit has been drawn to
prevent further development extending
along the A22, a protected route, along the
Lisbarnet Road and into the open countryside.
In order to consolidate the settlement form,
the limit allows for additional development
opportunities on land to the east of the
Killinchy Road behind the existing frontage
development and between The Straits and
Quarry Road.
Interim sewage disposal measures or
development phasing may be necessary for
future housing schemes until such time as
the required upgrade to the Waste Water
Treatment Works serving Lisbane is complete
and fully operational.
