Small Engines & Marine Tech2-Year ProgramPlattsburgh Satellite
Students will learn a marketable trade in the world of recreational vehicles. They will obtain the knowledge needed to maintain and repair a variety of small engines used on portable power equipment. They will learn the principles of basic machining, internal combustion engine operation, read technical manuals and develop customer relations. Students will work on snowmobiles, motorcycles, and personal watercraft, lawn, garden, golf course maintenance equipment and larger watercraft.
Students will acquire the skills needed for employability from basic tune-ups to rebuilding engines.
