To understand various MIS operating in functional areas of an organisation and explain its relationship with the various activities of the organisation. System Life Cycle: Information Flow, Entity Relationship Modelling, Data Modelling, Detailed Process Analysis, Data Flow Diagrams UNIT III: Decision Making with MIS: System Concepts for MIS, Data, Information and Communication, Problem Solving and Decision Making.
