The Federation of Water polo clubs Slovenia has been entrusted by LEN with the organization of the Men's U17 Water polo Qualification tournament, Group C to be held in Slovenia - Maribor in June 2021. The Qualifications shall be played in Maribor between the 24th and 27th June 2021.

COMPETITION VENUE
The competition will take place in the host city of Maribor, Slovenia in the
SWIMMING POOL COMPLEX PRISTAN
Pristan is located by the Drava river Pristan is a large swimming pool complex that covers 3480m2 of surface:
1,875m2 large swimming surface 1,322m2 of pool complex platform.

Olympic water surface area: 50 m × 25 m, depth: 2,2 m
COMPETITION REGULATIONS
The Tournament will be run in accordance with the LEN General Event Rules and the Event Regulations governing the European Junior Water Polo Championships.
The LEN Water Polo Events Sanitary Guidelines v5 (or valid at the time of the tournament) will also be implemented.
COVID-19
Certain restrictions apply for crossing the state borders and these depend on the country from which you are arriving in Slovenia.
The National Institute of Public Health (NIJZ) closely monitors the epidemiological situation in Slovenia and globally, and prepares evaluations of the epidemiological situation in every single country. On the basis of those evaluations, the Government determines the lists of countries that are subject to the various measures that apply for entering Slovenia.
Passengers entry from countries on the red list must provide the following:
1. a negative PCR test for COVID-19 that is not older than 48 hours according to the date of the swab taken if it was carried out in an EU Member State, a Schengen Area Member State, the United Kingdom of Great Britain or Russia;
2. a positive PCR test result that is older than 10 days, unless a doctor assesses otherwise, but which is not older than six months, or a medical certificate of recovery from COVID-19 if not more than six months have elapsed since the beginning of symptoms, or
3. a certificate of vaccination against COVID-19, which proves that:- at least seven days have passed since the second dose of the Comirnaty vaccine by BioNTech/Pfizer,- at least 14 days have passed since the second dose of the COVID-19 vaccine by Moderna,- at least 21 days have passed since the first dose of the Vaxzevria (COVID-19 vaccine) by AstraZeneca,- at least 14 days have passed since the dose of the COVID-19 vaccine Janssen by Johnson & Johnson/Janssen-Cilag,- at least 21 days have passed since the first dose of the Covishield vaccine by the Serum Institute of India/AstraZeneca,- at least 14 days have passed since the second dose of the Sputnik V vaccine by Russia's Gamaleya National Centre of Epidemiology and Microbiology,- at least 14 days have passed since the second dose of the CoronaVac vaccine by Sinovac Biotech, or- at least 14 days have passed since the second dose of the COVID-19 vaccine by Sinopharm.

All members of the contingents must present a negative Rapid Test Result to enter the hotel. Once they have checked into the hotel, everyone must undergo a PCR Test and remain in their respective rooms until they receive their result.
The Organizer will conduct and is financially responsible for both, the RT-PCR and rapid testing upon arrival to the venue and the rapid testing during the Tournament.
To gain access to the Swimming pool Pristan Sports, everyone must present an identification document.
A negative PCR test undergone 48h before the travel and the negative rapid and PCR test upon the arrival are the only valid documents to enter the competition.
OFFICIAL HOTEL – TEAMS
The official hotel accommodating the teams is the Hotel City Maribor.
The hotel is located by the Drava river and just few minutes walking distance away from the Swimming pool Pristan and city center. It is known for its hospitality and guest oriented service.

The official hotel accommodating the teams is Hotel City Maribor and reservations will be accepted on a first come first serve basis.
OFFICIAL HOTEL – LEN OFFICIALS
The official hotel accommodating the Len officials is the Hotel Maribor.
The Hotel Maribor awaits you on the Glavni trg square in the historical part of the city of Maribor. It is located in the city that inspires with its picturesque surroundings and rich natural conditions.
Hotel Maribor is about 650 meters away from the Swimming pool complex Pristan.

Single room 150 EUR /person/night Full board
Double room 120 EUR /person/night Full board
TRANSPORT
All transport is arranged by our Federation:
Airport transfer to and from the official hotels - each individual team will have individual transportation for social distancing reasons;
Transfer from all training sessions and matches from the official hotels to the pool and return;

PAYMENTS
A 50% deposit of the team’s total accommodation costs is to be made by Bank Transfer to the Account of the Association as shown below by not later than 7th June 2021 and the remaining balance must be settled 5 days prior to the contingent’s arrival in Slovenia.
