Slovakia CityU MBA Students Finish 3rd at GMC International Finals in Sochi The Slovakia Global Management Challenge (GMC) national finalists, who are currently students enrolled in the CityU MBA program in Slovakia finished 3rd in the fierce battle of the GMC finals in Sochi last week (September 18th). The finals, which were comprised of the eight best teams were won by the team Russia. The China team ranked 2nd followed by our “super stars” from Slovakia – namely Juraj Privrel, Matej Privrel, Darina Privrelová, Marek Štefunkov, and Anna Galbavá. The Slovakia team took advantage from its experience from last year`s world finals, where it finished 6th. It is a great achievement for Slovakia and we are happy that CityU MBA students belong to the best in the world.

About Global Management Challenge Global Management Challenge is the largest strategy and management competition in the world, with participation from more than 30 countries. In excess of 500,000 university students and company managers have participated in the competition over the past 30 years. The challenge comprises a program wherein teams of managers and university students manage a virtual company in competition with each other, with the objective of achieving the highest investment performance.
