SLITS APEX Application User Guide

Overview

As EPA is moving away from the legacy Lotus Notes technology, the new SLITS application has been implemented in Oracle Application Express (ApEx) to replace the old SLITS application. This user guide documents information to help existing and new users be able to access and use the new SLITS application. Non-EPA users (existing or new) are required to request an EPA Web Application Access (WAA) account in order to access the application. EPA users can request the application access via the EPA’s WAA website. All the information is included in the sections below as well as the new features that Oracle ApEx provides.

Application URLs

Responding to New Requests

There are three actions (Acknowledge, Respond and Follow up) that the SLITS responder can take to handle new requests. When the new request is first received, the responder can either respond to or acknowledge the request. If the response prompts the requester for more information, then the “Follow up” feature will be available to the responder. The screenshot below shows the view that the responder will initially see when receiving a new request.
