After logging in, click the Go Shopping tab.Click Go Shopping from the submenu.

Click the Create Shopping Cart button to open a new cart.

Rename your shopping cart.Set your default values (budget number, GL, product category).Click the Add Items button to access the HopkinsSelect eMarketplace.

Search for your product, either by: JH recommendations on the front page, browse the product categories, or keyword search.

When you find the item you want to purchase, click the Add to Cart button.

To add more items to your cart, click Continue Shopping.To create an E-Quote, click Save as E-Quote.To finish your order and proceed to checkout, click Create Order Requisition.

Specify preferred shopping method. Default is 3-5 Day Delivery.Specify trade compliance.Click the Continue button.

Click the Submit Order Requisition button to proceed to checkout.

Click the Transfer Items to SAP Cart button to exit the HopkinsSelect eMarketplace and return to SAP shopping cart.

Dell E-Quotes
E-Quotes allow users to prepare an order and save it for later purchase or for review by someone else.
E-Quotes can be accessed by the individual who saved it, or by any Shopping Cart user.
E-Quotes are saved for 60 days.

Do this when:
•Someone else selected what they want to purchase and you are ordering on their behalf. (example: a co-worker knows which computer they want, but they don’t have SAP access)
•Someone else is making a recommendation for you. (example: your LAN admin is suggesting which computer is appropriate for a co-worker, faculty member, or your needs)

Create a new shopping cart in SAP.Select the Dell site from the HopkinsSelect eMarketplace.Click the E-Quotes icon from the main page.

Enter the email address of the person who created the E-Quote.Click the Retrieve E-Quote button.

Look for your name in the Requested By column.Click the E-quote number or the button to retrieve the E-quote.

Review order.Remove items or change quantities if needed.Click Create Order Requisition to proceed to checkout.

Creating an E-QuoteCreate an E-Quote if:
You don’t have the Shopping Cart role.You’re making a recommendation for someone else (i.e. LAN admin).You want to save your Dell cart to order on a later date.
How to Create an E-Quote:If you do have the Shopping Cart role: create a new shopping cart in SAP and continue to the HopkinsSelect eMarketplace.
If you do not have the Shopping Cart role: use the Dell Premier website, www.Premier.Dell.com. A user account is required.

Create a new Shopping Cart.Add items to cart as usual.Click Save as E-quote on the My Cart summary screen when order is complete.

Fill in all required fields as indicated by the * symbol.Click on the Continue button.

Go to the Dell Premier website www.Premier.Dell.com.Log in.
If you do not have a Dell Premier user profile, go to http://ssc.jhmi.edu/supplychain/secure/contract_list.html#computers and log in with your JHED ID and Password to create an account.
Select the items you want to order.Save cart as E-Quote.Email the E-Quote to the person who will be creating the Shopping Cart in SAP.
