DISASSEMBLY PROCEDUREPreparationsMake the following preparations; Turn off the power switch. Remove the battery cover and battery.

1. Left Frame (Time required: About 1 minute)1-1 Loosen the adjusting bolt (front) marked [E15] and the adjusting

bolt (rear) marked [E16]. The left frame can then be removed.(Fig.1)

2. Bracket Assembly, Bracket, Sleeve(Time required: About 2 minutes each)

2-1 Remove the left frame. (See procedure 1.)2-2 Bracket Assembly:

Remove the two (2) screws marked [D05]. The upper bracketassembly can then be removed from the left frame. (Fig.1)The lower bracket assembly can be removed in the same manner.

2-3 Bracket, Sleeve:Remove the two (2) screws marked [E19]. The upper bracketand the upper sleeve can then be removed. (Fig.1)The lower bracket and the lower sleeve can be removed in thesame manner.

3. Right Frame (Time required: About 1 minute)3-1 Remove the four (4) screws marked [E22]. The right frame can

then be removed with the horn. (Fig.1)

4. Horn, Right Bracket (Time required: About 2 minutes each)4-1 Remove the right frame. (See procedure 3.)4-2 Horn:

Remove the two (2) screws marked [D08]. The horn can then beremoved. (Fig.1)

4-3 Right Bracket:Remove the two (2) screws marked [E21]. The upper rightbracket can then be removed. (Fig.1)The lower right bracket can be removed in the same manner.

（分解手順）準備作業を行う前に下記のことを行って下さい。　電源スイッチをOFFにします。　バッテリーカバーを外し、中のバッテリー(乾電池)を取り

外します。

1. フレーム(L) (所要時間：約1分)1-1 [E15]の調整ボルト(F) 1本と[E16]の調整ボルト(R) 1本を

緩めて、フレーム(L)を外します。(図 1)

2. ブラケットAss'y、フレーム受けプレート、スリーブ(所要時間：各約2分)

2-1 フレーム(L)を外します。(1項参照)2-2 ブラケットAss'y:

[D05]のネジ 2本を外して、フレーム(L)から上側のブラケットAss'yを外します。(図 1)下側のブラケットAss'yも、同様にして外すことができます。

2-3 フレーム受けプレート、スリーブ:[E19]のネジ2本を外して、上側のフレーム受けプレートとスリーブを外します。(図 1)下側のフレーム受けプレートとスリーブも、同様にして外すことができます。

3. フレーム(R) (所要時間：約1分)3-1 [E22]のネジ4本を外して、ホーンと共にフレーム(R)を外

します。(図 1)

4. ホーン、ブラケット(R) (所要時間：各約2分)4-1 フレーム(R)を外します。(3項参照)4-2 ホーン:

[D08]のネジ2本を外して、ホーンを外します。(図 1)4-3 ブラケット(R):

[E21]のネジ2本を外して、上側のブラケット(R)を外します。(図 1)下側のブラケット(R)も、同様にして外すことができます。

marked [F06]. The panel assembly can then be removed. (Fig.3)

7. MA Circuit Board, AUX Circuit Board,Jack (LINE Connector Assembly)(Time required: About 3 minutes each)

7-1 Remove the panel assembly. (See procedure 6.)7-2 MA Circuit Board:

Pull out the three (3) rotary knobs for [VOLUME], [BASS] and[TREBLE]. (Fig.3, 4)Remove the two (2) screws marked [16A]. The MA circuit boardcan then be removed. (Fig.4)

7-3 AUX Circuit Board:Pull out the AUX knob and remove the screw marked [16B].The AUX circuit board can then be removed with the jack holder.(Fig.3, 4, 5)Remove the hexagonal nut marked [B]. The jack holder can thenbe removed from the AUX circuit board. (Fig.5)

7-4 Jack (LINE Connector Assembly):Remove the hexagonal nut marked [10]. The jack (LINEconnector assembly) can then be removed. (Fig.3, 4)

5. 糸巻き (所要時間：約2分)5-1 左側(4弦～6弦)と右側(1弦～3弦)の弦をそれぞれ3本ず

つ外します。(図 2)5-2 [A]のネジをそれぞれ3本ずつ外して、左右の糸巻きを外

します。(図 2)

6. パネルAss'y (所要時間：約1分)6-1 [F05]のネジ4本と[F06]のネジ4本を外して、パネルAss'y

を外します。(図 3)

7. MAシート、AUXシート、ジャック(LINE束線)(所要時間：各約3分)

7-1 パネルAss'yを外します。(6項参照)7-2 MAシート:

[VOLUME]､[BASS]､[TREBLE]用のロータリーツマミ3個を引き抜きます。(図 3, 4)[16A]のネジ2本を外して、MAシートを外します。(図 4)

7-3 AUXシート:AUXツマミ1個を引き抜き、[16B]のネジ 1本を外して、ジャックホルダーと共にAUXシートを外します。(図 3, 4, 5)[B]の六角ナット1個を外して、AUXシートからジャックホルダーを外します。(図 5)

INSPECTIONS1. Required Equipment

High-sensitivity AC voltmeter (level meter) Storage oscilloscope Dry battery (006P) or power supply adapter (PA-009)

2. Noise Level Measurement Load resistance

[PHONES] jack: 39 Ω (one each right and left)[LINE OUT] jack:10k Ω

(1) Turn on the power to the main unit, turn on the [PHONES]switch, and check that the power LED (green) lights up.

(2) Connect the level meter to the [PHONES] jack.(3) Turn the [VOLUME], [BASS], and [TREBLE] control dials to

the maximum (right-most) positions.(4) Stop the strings vibrating, measure the noise level, and check

that the noise levels for both right and left channels are -60dBmor less.

(5) Disconnect the level meter from the [PHONES] jack and connectit to the [LINE OUT] jack.

(6) Stop the strings vibrating, measure the noise level, and checkthat the noise level is -60dBm or less.

3. Output Level Measurement(1) Connect the level meter to the [LINE OUT] jack, and turn the

[VOLUME], [BASS] and [TREBLE] control dials to themaximum (right-most) positions.

(2) Strongly pluck strings 1 to 6 on the main unit individually,observe the output waveform on the storage oscilloscope, andcheck that the peak voltage when each string is plucked is 1V ormore. Check that the peak standard output voltage for each stringis 2V, and that there is no major variation in output betweenstrings.

(3) Turn the [VOLUME] control dial to the minimum (left-most)position, and return the [BASS] and [TREBLE] control dials tothe mid-positions (click position).

(4) Disconnect the level meter from the [LINE OUT] jack.

4. Reverberation Inspection(1) Connect a pair of headphones to the [PHONES] jack, and turn the

[VOLUME] control dial to the maximum (right-most) position.(2) Pluck a string on the main unit, turn the [REVERB] switch from

‘OFF’ to ‘1’ and then to ‘2’, and check that the following effectis present at the right and left headphone outputs.REVERB Mode (reverberation time)

1 HALL (1.0 sec)2 HALL (3.0 sec)

Observe the waveforms on the storage oscilloscope as necessary.(3) Turn the [REVERB] switch to 2, and turn the [VOLUME],

[BASS], and [TREBLE] control dials to the maximum (right-most) positions.

(4) Strongly pluck strings 1 to 6 on the main unit simultaneously,and check that there is no distortion in the output from theheadphones.

(5) Turn the [VOLUME] control dial to the minimum (left-most)position, return the [BASS] and [TREBLE] control dials to the mid-positions (click position), and turn the [REVERB] switch off.

(6) Disconnect the headphones.

1.治具　高感度交流電圧計（レベルメータ）　ストレージオシロスコープ　乾電池（006P）または、電源アダプター（PA-D09）

2.ノイズレベルの測定　負荷抵抗

[PHONES]端子: 39Ω（左右それぞれ）[LINE OUT]端子:10kΩ

　(1)本体に電源を供給して[PHONES]スイッチをONにし、パワーランプ（緑）が点灯することを確認します。

　(2)[PHONES]端子にレベルメータを接続します。　(3)[VOLUME]､[BASS]､[TREBLE]コントロールツマミを右

一杯（最大）に回します。　(4)弦の振動を止めてノイズレベルを測定し、左右とも

－60dBm以下であることを確認します。　(5)[PHONES]端子のレベルメータを外し、[LINE OUT]端子に

接続します。　(6)弦の振動を止めてノイズレベルを測定し、－60dBm以下

であることを確認します。

3.出力レベルの測定　(1)[LINE OUT]端子にレベルメータを接続し、[VOLUME]、

[BASS]、[TREBLE]コントロールツマミを右一杯（最大）に回します。

　(2)本体の1～6弦を各々強く弾いて、出力波形をストレージオシロスコープで観測して、発弦時の最大電圧（ピーク値）が各弦とも1V以上であることを確認します。各弦の標準的な出力電圧のピーク値は2Vとし、各弦の出力に大きなバラツキがないことを確認します。

　(3)[VOLUME]コントロールツマミを左一杯（最小）に回し、[BASS]及び[TREBLE]コントロールツマミを中央（クリック位置）に戻します。

　(4)[LINE OUT]端子のレベルメータを外します。

4.リバーブ検査　(1)[PHONES]端子にヘッドフォンを接続し、[VOLUME]コン

トロールツマミを右一杯（最大）に回します。　(2)本体の弦を弾いて、[REVERB]スイッチをOFFから1及び

2へ切り替えて、ヘッドフォンの左右の出力に次の効果がかかることを確認します。REVERB モード（残響時間）1 HALL （1.0秒）2 HALL （3.0秒）

また必要に応じて、ストレージオシロスコープで波形を観測します。

　(3)[REVERB]スイッチを2にして、[VOLUME]､[BASS]､[TREBLE]コントロールツマミを全て右一杯（最大）に回します。

　(4)本体の1弦から6弦を同時に強く弾いて、ヘッドフォンの出力に歪み等がないことを確認します。

　(5)[VOLUME]コントロールツマミを左一杯（最小）に回し、[BASS]コントロールツマミと[TREBLE]コントロールツマミを中央（クリック位置）に戻して、[REVERB]スイッチをOFFにします。

　(6)ヘッドフォンを抜きます。

TUNING

Use a tuning meter, pitch pipe, tuning fork, piano, etc.,and tune the open strings to the pitches shown below.

• If the string’s pitch is high, loosen the string until thestring’s pitch is slightly lower than the tuning pitch, thentune while raising the string’s pitch.

Play the standard pitch “lah” (A3: 440Hz) on a tuning fork,etc., and tune the open 5th string to the same pitch.

Play the pitch produced by pressing the 5th string at the 5thfret, and tune the open 4th string to the same pitch.

Play the pitch produced by pressing the 4th string at the 5thfret, and tune the open 3rd string to the same pitch.

Play the pitch produced by pressing the 3rd string at the 4thfret, and tune the open 2nd string to the same pitch.

Play the pitch produced by pressing the 2nd string at the 5thfret, and tune the open 1st string to the same pitch.

Play the pitch produced by pressing the 6th string at the 5thfret, and tune the pitch at the 5th fret of the 6th string to the pitchproduced by the open 5th string.

チューニングメーター、ピッチパイプ、音叉、ピアノなどを使って、各弦の開放音を以下の音程にチューニングします。

･音程が高い場合は、一度弦をゆるめて音程を少し下げた後で上げながらチューニングをします。

音叉などの基準音（A3：440Hz）を用いて、次の手順でチューニングをします。

音叉などの基準音ラ（A3：440Hz）を鳴らし、それと5弦の開放音が同じになるように、5弦をチューニングします。

5弦の5フレットを押さえたときの音（レ）と4弦の開放音が同じになるように、4弦をチューニングします。

4弦の5フレットを押さえたときの音（ソ）と3弦の開放音が同じになるように、3弦をチューニングします。

3弦の4フレットを押さえたときの音（シ）と2弦の開放音が同じになるように、2弦をチューニングします。

2弦の5フレットを押さえたときの音（ミ）と1弦の開放音が同じになるように、1弦をチューニングします。

6弦の5フレットを押さえたときの音（ラ）と5弦の開放音が同じになるように、6弦をチューニングします。
