Operating Model
• SLAC is responsible for doing the work
• Stanford University is responsible for overseeing and assuring to DOE that SLAC is conducting its work and operations at the laboratory as promised
• SSO is responsible for ensuring that all work performed in accordance with the contract
• SLAC, SU, and SSO are responsible for working together to continually improve the operations of the laboratory in support of our mission
• Enable safe work environment through essential institutional services including:– ES&H Training– Fire Protection, Security,
Emergency Services– Occupational Medical Services– Design Reviews– Construction Safety– Environmental Protection and
Restoration– Waste Minimization and
