Technical Data Sheet SKY-0112 HYDROGEN SULFIDE SCAVENGER - Concentrate SKY-0112 is a water-soluble formulation designed to remove hydrogen sulfide (H2S) from hydrocarbon or aqueous systems. The by-products of the H2S reaction are water-soluble and are removed with the water in the system. SKY-0112 is designed to effectively remove H2S from either hydrocarbon or aqueous systems. The rates of product needed depend upon the concentrations of the H2S in the system and the volume of produced fluid or gas to the cleaned. When using a bubble tower application the product should be mixed with fresh water, methanol and/or alcohol. The efficiency of SKY-0112 will depend on factors such as contact time, pressure, temperature, mass transfer and the quantity of water present. As a general rule, each gallon of SKY-0112 blend will scavenge approximately 3.0 pounds of hydrogen sulfide per MMSCF. Scale inhibitors may be added to lessen CaCO3 scale problems from injection into water systems.
