Skittles Art Selling Your Art
This worksheet will help you determine how to set a sales price for your skittles art. Often, artists struggle to set sales prices for their art. This worksheet will ask you to determine how much you want to make per hour of creative work and to factor this into the sales price of your art.
1. How much did you spend purchasing skittles for your artwork? 2. How many square inches of cardboard did you use to back your artwork? 3. How much did you spend purchasing cardboard for your artwork? 4. Most artists and business people double the amount they spend on materials in order them turn a profit; this is called material cost. What is your material cost?
4. How much money do you think you should make per hour as an artist? 5. Multiply the number of hours you worked on this artwork by the amount of money you think you should earn per hour as an artist. This is your artwork salary. 7. What is your artwork sales price?
