Skittles Art Planning Sheet

This worksheet will help you plan out your project. It will walk you through the process of finding out how many skittles you will need, and how much this will cost. Before you begin this worksheet, finish editing your image using either Adobe Photoshop or Pixlr, and print out a color copy of your pixelated image.

1. Look at your pixelated image. How many skittles will you need to complete your art? 2. Look at your pixelated image. How much of each color skittle will you need to complete your art? Red Orange Yellow Green Purple 3. Based on the number of skittles you will need, how many bags of skittles do you need to purchase? *remember, you need to assume and consider that each bag of skittles has equal amounts of each color skittle. 4. Based on the number of bags of skittles you need to purchase, how much money will you spend on skittles to complete your art? 5. If each skittle = 0.5 inches, then what size (in inches) backing (cardboard) will you need to complete your artwork?
