Note: Sizzling Summer activities may not be held on the following public holidays: May 24, Jun 17, Aug 1, Aug 2 and Sep 2. Please check with your Concierge or nearest Visitor Information Centre.

Several of the activities listed have participation limits and specific start and end dates and times which are noted in their detailed descriptions. Outdoor events are weather dependent; please check listing if rain date applies.

SUNDAYS LIVE AT SNORKEL PARK BEACH

Snorkel Park Beach is the place to be on Sundays as they feature an eclectic mix of local Bermuda artists, performers and musicians in a beautiful beach setting. In addition to great entertainment there is an array of activities such as sand castle contests, pedal boat races for the kids and other games and contests, making this beach location the ultimate beach getaway. Snorkel Park Beach o!ers a delicious barbeque menu, cool tropical drinks and refreshments, at cost.

DOCKYARD HISTORICAL RE-ENACTMENTS

Watch a fun and entertaining depiction of life in the Royal Naval Dockyard during the early 19th century. Period costumed entertainers show the many historical aspects of the Royal Naval Dockyard with a short performance before a live cannon firing. You have the opportunity to be photographed with entertainers and see, first-hand, the many things the Royal Naval Dockyard has to o!er.

DOCKYARD WALKING TOUR

The rich history is brought to life on a walking tour that covers various aspects of life in the Royal Naval Dockyard. You'll hear the importance this British base played in the defence of Bermuda while looking at the architectural masterpieces that surround the complex.

DESTINATION DOCKYARD

The Royal Naval Dockyard is the perfect setting for the whole family to enjoy themselves! Listen to the great live entertainment while experiencing local arts and crafts, late night shopping, food stations and children’s activities. Take the ferry from the City of Hamilton and spend your evening enjoying fun under the stars in the West End.

Join the City of Hamilton’s Town Crier, Ed Christopher, and experience Bermuda on foot while discovering unique facts about places in the city. Dressed in his o"cial uniform, Ed leads you through the City of Hamilton’s vibrant streets as you learn about the history and culture of this dynamic city.

BERMUDA NATIONAL GALLERY FINE ART TOUR

Located in the heart of the City of Hamilton, the Bermuda National Gallery is the home of Bermuda’s national art collection and is located at the centre of the Island’s vibrant arts scene. Don’t miss the Ondaatje Wing where works from the Bermuda Collection tell Bermuda’s history through its fine and decorative arts which reflect the Island’s multicultural heritage. Every Monday and Wednesday enjoy a lecture by local historian, Ruth Thomas. And, on Thursdays experience Bermuda’s rich art history with a professionally trained tour guide.

GOMBEY SATURDAYS IN THE PARK

Don’t miss a lively welcome by the City of Hamilton’s Town Crier followed by an electrifying Gombey performance in Queen Elizabeth Park (formerly known as Par-la-Ville Park). As you relax in one of Bermuda’s most beautiful parks, you will enjoy island Calypso tunes on the steel pan before watching Bermuda’s dynamic Gombey dancers. Whether you’re in the mood for dancing or would like to capture great photographs, Gombey Saturdays in the Park will be buzzing with Bermuda’s favourite cultural traditions.

Unlock your adventurous spirit and let a BUEI guide take you on a tour of this 'must see' attraction! Explore two floors of interactive exhibits, discover the Teddy Tucker Shipwreck Gallery, see the best treasure room in Bermuda and one of the world’s largest shell collections. Complete your underwater exploration with a virtual dive, a virtual shark cage, the Bermuda Triangle, Titanic and more.

On the first Sunday of each Month, relax in the sun while listening to local rhythms in one of Bermuda’s most beloved parks, Victoria Park located in the City of Hamilton. This monthly event features Bermuda’s best live entertainment, a children’s play area, island cuisine and has Sundays sizzling with lots of fun.

With a fresh new look and feel, Wednesday evenings in the City is a must as it features Bermuda’s largest street festival, Harbour Nights. Enjoy late night shopping, special street performers and unique local artists' displays. There are also plenty of activities for children to enjoy at this truly Bermudian event.

ST. PETER’S, THEIR MAJESTIES CHAPPELL TOUR

�

Visit the oldest Anglican Church in continuous use outside the British Isles that was originally built from Bermuda cedar in 1612. Most of its present structure dates back to 1713 and contains a beautiful interior that is a must see to believe. The Department of Tourism’s support keeps this iconic Bermuda attraction open for our visitors’ pleasure, who are also welcome to attend Sunday service at 11:15 am.

ST. GEORGE’S WALKING TOUR

Join renowned St. George’s Walking Tour Guide Gillian Outerbridge as she takes you behind the scenes of this quaint UNESCO World Heritage Site to share significant moments in Bermuda’s history, entertaining facts and stories about past residents while showing you St. George’s unique architectural and scenic sites.

ST. GEORGE’S HISTORICAL RE-ENACTMENTS

Watch Bermuda’s history come to life as the St. George’s Town Crier conducts an 18th century trial in King’s Square. This entertaining and light-hearted historical re-enactment shows how an o!ender was publicly punished, including the ducking of a nagging wench.

ENCHANTED TREASURES OF COOPER’S ISLAND

Whether you’re looking to relax on the beach, view Bermuda’s nature trails or have fun in the sun, Cooper’s Island has an array of beach and land o!erings for everyone to enjoy. O! the beaten path, this secluded location features Clearwater Beach, Turtle Bay and Long Bay plus a spacious playground, steel pan music and water rentals at Gombeys Restaurant and beach bar. When visiting Gombeys Restaurant, be sure to receive your complimentary Rum Swizzle as you discover the many hidden treasures of the island.
