SAINT PHILIP NERI (Movie): An epic feature film on the famous "Apostle of Rome" and great friend of youth in the 16th century. One of the most popular saints of all time, St. Philip Neri was widely known for his great charity, deep prayer life, and tre-mendous humor. Hoping to join St. Ignatius of Loyola's new order of Jesuits and be a missionary to India, Philip was instead guided by Providence to seek out the poor and abandoned youth of Rome to catechize them in the faith and help them find a better life. He became the founder of the religious congregation, the Oratory, that worked with the youth and also labored to re-evangelize a decadent Rome. This captivating film highlights Neri's great love for youth, his warm sense of humor, contagious joy, deep mystical spiritual-ity, and his amazing gift for miracles. Actor Gigi Proietti gives a moving performance as St. Philip in this beautifully pro-duced film that is directed by Giacomo Campiotti, director of the acclaimed films Bakhita: From Slave to Saint and St. Giuseppe Moscatti.

PRAY – INFORM—ACT

Protect Life Crusaders next meeting is May 22nd @6:30pm in the Lower Hall. Please come and join us! For more infor-mation, contact Teresa Smith at [email protected].

** COMING IN AUGUST ** SPEAK UP FOR LIFE CONFERENCE

The Protect Life Crusaders are hosting a “SPEAK UP FOR LIFE” conference with support of Students for Life America. The focus of the conference is to educate and share tech-niques to effectively speak up and promote a culture of life, empowering us with knowledge and best practices, instilling confidence and courage to be the voice for the most vulner-able .

COMING SOON! The Protect Life Crusaders are bring-

ing the Spiritual Adoption Program to The Proto-Cathedral. This program was initially started by Archbishop Fulton Sheen to spiritually adopt an unborn child, and pray that the unknown child's life be spared from abortion. Watch for more details coming soon!

If you would like to get involved with these events, come to our next meeting to learn how you can help!

DID YOU KNOW?

The Truth about Planned Parenthood:

Recent undercover videos from the Center for Medical Pro-gress have shown that:

• Planned Parenthood participates in the illegal sale of hu-man organs by selling the baby parts of aborted babies to third party companies for profit.

• Planned Parenthood's top doctor, Dr. Deborah Nucatola, admitted that Planned Parenthood alters the abortion procedure, turning the baby to a breach position, in order to get the baby's body parts intact ensuring more profit per piece.

• Former Stem Express employee confessed to harvesting the organ of aborted babies at Planned Parenthood while they were still living. (Source: Students for Life of Ameri-ca).

Don't these gruesome and sinister facts disturb you? Join the Protect Life Crusaders and help promote a Culture of Life and defend the most vulnerable.

Get the facts. Get involved.

Be a Crusader!
