Youngest entrepreneur on the list is 32yearold Leo Chen, chairman of Jumei International Holding one of Chinas largest online

20. Australia announced to join Chinaled Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB) as a founding member with investment of 718.5
million USD as paidin capital. Australia will be sixth largest shareholder of AIIB.
Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB) will be headquartered in Beijing with paidin capital of 20 billion USD and total
authorised capital of 100 billion USD.
India will be secondlargest shareholder of AIIB which will be operational by December 2015.

29. Central Board of Direct Taxes (CBDT) signed two unilateral Advance Pricing Agreements (APAs) with two MultiNational Companies
which includes the first APA with a “rollback” provision.
CBDT has so far signed 14 APAs of which 13 are unilateral APAs and one is a bilateral APA.
Unilateral APAs are agreed between Indian taxpayers and CBDT without involvement of tax authorities of country where the
associated enterprise is based.
Bilateral APAs include agreements between tax authorities of the two countries.
APA with rollback provision extends tax certainty for nine financial years as against five years in APAs without rollback.
APAs are meant to settle transfer prices and methods of setting prices of international transactions in advance. Government
promotes having large number of APAs to foster tax cooperation and certainty.

Tyler prize was started in 1973 and is awarded by International Tyler Prize Executive Committee with the administrative support of

75. Indian environmental activist Rajendra Singh, has been conferred the prestigious Stockholm Water Prize this year for his innovative
water restoration efforts and courage to empower communities in Indian villages.
It is known as Nobel Prize for water has been given to Rajendra Singh for his efforts for bringing water water to 1,000 villages.
