Additional Ad Platforms and Ad placement options

Additional Ad Platforms providers have been added to the Control Panel, helping site owners increase revenue byplacing more mobile ad’s on their site. In addition to Google AdSense, users can also add ads from Mojiva, Smaatoand Adfonic Ad platform providers by inserting the relevant ad platform ID. We have added an ‘AdditionalOptions’ area within the Ads feature so you can chose where you want the ads to appear on your site; on theHome page and/or subpages of the site, on the top, bottom etc.

• Feature has been renamed from ‘Google Ads’ to ‘Ads’• Select from the drop down list to select Ad platforms [Image 1]• Ad platform providers include: Google Adsense, Mojiva, Smaato and Adfonic• Option to display ads on the Home page or just on the subpages of the site [Image 3]• Option to position the Ad on the site

Site façade enhancement

We currently add a grey background to the body of all of the inner site pages regardless of what template or color scheme is selected. In order to provide differentiation the body background color and the text color of the inner pages of the site will match the template that is applied to the site. Users will also be able to customize the color via the ‘Advanced Options’ area of the ‘Site Colors’ feature.

• The color of the body background of the subpages [initially applied to the site] will be the same as the ‘site header ’color of the template applied to the site [see image 1 below]

• The site owner can customize the body background color and the body text color of the inner pages via the Advanced Options in the Site Colors feature [see image 2 below]

• These settings will only apply to new sites created from the day of the release [or if a new template is applied to an existing site from the day of the release]

WYSIWYG Editor Enhancements Please find all new options in the Configuration Assistent SiteOnMobi.com/login





We have made several enhancements to the WYSIWYG to improve the look and layout of content that is inserted into a page via the WYSIWYG editor. Options include changing the font type, color and size and also configuring the alignment of text and/or objects inserted into a page via the editor.

Site Colors

Additional color options have been added to the ‘Site Color’ feature to enable further customization of the site colors. You now also have the option to customize the color of the new Site Navigation Menu bar [if it is applied to the site]. In addition to that you can also customize the background of the subpages of your site and the text on the subpages [see image 1 below].

NEW

New Site Navigation Menu Bar

To enable easier navigation through the mobile site we have add a new Site Navigation Menu Bar’ option to the site. It is only supported on Smartphone, tablet and desktop devices; on all other devices it will not be displayed. It will be applied to all new goMobi sites created from the date of the release [existing sites will not be impacted].

The ’Site Navigation Menu Bar’ will be created from a predefined list of features if they have been activated on the site. All other features will be contained within drop down menus. If any of the predefined menu features are not activated on the site then the corresponding icon will not appear on the navigation menu bar [see image 1 for example]

The site owner can customize the placement of the Navigation Menu Bar in the Templates panel of the Design area of the Control Panel, it can be added to the top or the bottom of the site [see image 3 below]. The default position of the Navigation Menu bar will be at the top of the site. There is also the added option of removing it from the site by selecting the relevant image and clicking update.

The colors of the ’Site Navigation Menu Bar’ will be that of the template that has been applied to the site. The colors can be customized via the ‘Advanced Options’ of the ‘Site Colors’ feature.

• On some devices the menu will be in a fixed position and on others it will scroll with the page content

• Can be positioned at the top or bottom of the site or removed from the site• Will automatically be applied to all new goMobi sites created from the date of the release [existing

Google+ Feature

In additon to Twitter and Facebook site owners can now also provide access to their site vistors to their Google + page content from within their branded mobile site. All site owners need to do to add their Google + page is enter the URL or ID into the field provided and we will automatically pull and display the content in their mobile site.

Similar to Facebook and Twitter updates to their Google + page will automatically be reflected on their mobile site.

• Google+ feature is loaceted between the Facebook and Twitter feature in the Features list• Google + URL or ID is required to activate the feature• Content from the Google+ page will be displayed within the mobile site• Updates to their Google+ page will automatically be reflected on their mobile site.

Google + Sharing

Sharing via Google + has been added to the share options which are displayed at the bottom of the page of the site and it has also been added to the ‘Tell A Friend’ feature as an option.






Google Adwords tracking

You can now track traffic and conversions from your Google Adword campaigns to your mobile site. Via the‘Advanced Options’ area of each feature you can insert your Google Adwords Conversion ID and Label and we willinsert the tracking code into the source of that feature/page enabling you to track visitors. For features with formsthe tracking code will be inserted into the confirmation page of the form enabling you to track conversions.

• Insert your Google Adwords Conversion ID and Label to the’ Advanced Options’ area of each feature

• All traffic and conversions can be viewed from your Google Adwords dashboard• Form features include: Forms, Booking Request, Call Me Back and Keep Me Informed

Hiding features from the Home page

Previously all features activated on a goMobi site appeared on the home page of the site by default. You can now add features/pages to their site and select to ‘hide’ from the home page [and also the new site navigation menu bar] by unselecting the ‘Display in site navigation’ option in the ‘Advanced Options’ area of the feature. This will remove the feature from the Home page and also from the Navigation menu bar on the site [if it has been added]. For convenience the URL of the page will be displayed in a text field.

• The default option for all features is to display them on the site navigation• To hide features from the ‘Home’ page and ‘Navigation Menu Bar’, unselect the ‘Display in Site

Creating Subpages

You can now create subpages and add them to any page /feature that has a WYSIWYG Editor.

Step 1 - you must have the feature/page activated and added to the siteStep 2 - Optional - you can hide the feature from the site navigation via the ‘Advanced Options’ area of the feature,Step 3 - Just click on the ‘link’ option in the WYSIWYG editor of the page/feature you want to add a subpage to and select the feature/page from the ‘Internal Links’ drop down list. A link to this page will be automatically inserted.

Only activated features will appear in this drop down list. You can add as many as you like.

• To add a subpage to a feature, select the text, image or object on the page that you want to add the link to and click on the ‘link’ icon on WYSIWYG editor and select the feature/page from the Internal links drop down list [See image 1 & 2 below].

• Click on the ‘External Links’ tab to add a link to an external site• If you do not want the subpage to be accessible from the main site navigation go to go to the

‘Advanced Options’ area of that feature and unselect the ‘Display in site navigation’ checkbox [see image 1 & 2 above]

Widgets

You can now insert various objects into pages/features that have a WYSIWYG editor; we refer to these as ‘widgets’. On the WYSIWYG you will see a variety of icons, just click on the ‘widget’ icon that you want to display in the page and enter the information required in the corresponding Pop-up widow and click OK. It is as simple as that.

• Widgets include:• YouTube video,• PayPal button,• Google Wallet,• Mobile Ads [Google Adsense, Adfonic, Smaato, and Mojiva]

• When you click on the ‘widget’ icon on the WYSIWYG editor a popup box will appear for you to enter the relevant information [see image 2 below].

EU Cookie Regulations

the EU will display a message on the site façade asking users to allow cookies on a site.• Message will appear on the top of the home page of the site, below the site navigation menu

bar• To view the list of cookies that may be used on the site click the ‘Cookie Policy’ text in the

message• To remove the message from view the user needs to click ‘Ok’ to acknowledge the message,

once clicked it will not be displayed again to that visitor• The cookie policy page is not accessible from the site navigation

24 hour format support

We have added the option to set the time format that you want to use on your site to the ‘Language & Region’feature in the design area.

• You can select from AM/PM or 24 hour.• The time format selected will be reflected in the ‘Opening Hours’ feature and in the ‘Booking

Request’ feature to indicate option selected [see image 2]• You can also change the format by clicking on the time format link in either of these features.• The time stamp on all form submissions that are emailed to the site owner will be displayed in the

time format selected.

Redeemable Coupons trackingIf you added redeemable coupons to your site you can track how many of them have been redeemed. Go to the ‘Redeem Options’ of the coupon on the Control Panel and you will see the number of people that have redeemed that specific coupon.
