Technical Specification for Sewage Treatment Plant
1.0 Project & Business Objectives
M/S. Hubert Enviro Care Systems (P) Ltd seeks to provide the best technology for
the supply of Sewage treatment plant.
2.0 Scope of Work
The Scope of our work includes as follows
Design & detailed Engineering
Fabrication & Supply of all electromechanical equipments
Erection of all equipments
Testing & Commissioning of all equipments
Note: All Civil Works are under Client’s scope.
3.0 Design Basis:

5.0 Battery Limit:
1. Sewage Inlet & outlet is clients scope
2. Incomer Electrical power - 415 Volts and 50 Hz
3. Power incomer to our panel is under client’s scope
4. Cabling for Panel to the individual equipments is under Contractor’s scope
5. Construction Water & Power is under Client’s scope.
6. Site clearance & handing over of the site to contractor is under Client’s scope.
6.0 Connectivity

7.0 Codes & Standards:
All design; fabrication, inspection, and testing of the plant will be done with respect
to the latest Indian Standards. Incase of non-availability of standards, good
engineering practice will be adopted.
Standards to be followed:
Plain & reinforced cement concrete – IS 456: 2000
Concrete structure for the storage of liquids – IS 3370: 1981-88
Pressure vessels – ASME SEC VIII
Pumps – IS 5120
Others – Available IS standards.
Incase of non-availability of standards, good engineering practice will be
adopted.
9.0 Process description:
MBBR Technology
The sewage generated from the various sources will be collected in the collection
tank through the bar screen chamber in order to remove the floating materials and
particle size greater than 15mm. The Screened sewage is then led to the aeration
tank.

In the aeration tank, air is diffused through special type of diffusers to oxidize the
organic matters with the help of air blower & diffuser arrangement. Biological
treatment takes place through MBBR media. Then the overflow from aeration tank
is sent to the Clarifier tank for settling. The bioflocs formed in the aeration tank will
be settled at the bottom of the Clarifier tank through Clarifier rake mechanism and
the settled sludge will be pumped to the sludge holding tank through the return
sludge pump. From sludge holding tank, the sludge will be fed to filter press unit
for dewatering purpose through screw pumps.
The clarified overflow will be collected in the Clarified water tank from where it is
pumped to the Pressure Sand Filter, Activated Carbon Filter through Filter feed
pump for the removal of suspended solids, organic matter and odour. UV dosing is
given for disinfection purpose. The filtered water is stored in the treated water tank
from where it is usde for gardening purpose.
