PRESENTATION

Our locks are mainly made of zamak and are as standard supplied with 6 wafers, giving 400 diff erent key combinations. Master key system and Interchangeable Cylinders are also available.

Some models are available with 7 wafers, granting 1000 key combinations. Keys are made of solid brass material. Some models are with brass pins & tubular keys, granting 2000 key combinations.

All locks are supplied as standard with 1 rosette and 2 double dented keys, marked with combination numbers. Keys are as standard supplied with black nylon cover, and can also be supplied as “hinged” type. However the keys may also be supplied all metal. Optional: Locks may be supplied with key combination number already prestamped on the cylinders. Locks with Master key & Interchangeable system (MIC) are as standard supplied with key combination number already prestamped on the cylinders.

You may ask for your own designed key and logo. Only you have to order minimum 10,000 keys (= 5000 locks of diff erent models).

MIC = Master key & Interchangeable Cylinder. Apart from a few models, most of our locks may be supplied with MIC system. All locks marked with the symbol “MIC” are available with interchangeable cylinder. Keys for changing the cylinder is covered with red nylon.

ADVANTAGE of MIC: 1) Security: You can install the cylinders or change same to desired key combination at the fi nal location. � is off ers additional security against unauthorized opening. 2) Comfort: It is easy to change cylinders without having to dismantle or change the lock already installed. In case of lost keys you can open the furniture either with the master key or you can take out the cylinder with the red key and replace it by a new cylinder. Insertion of loose cylinder into the lock body without any additional accessories – just the red key.

All MIC Locks are supplied with master key system as standard and cylinders are marked with key com-bination number.

MIC locks are supplied with fi xed cylinders or you can have empty lock bodies only and buy the cylin-ders separately, either as key alike or key to diff er. If you buy lock bodies only, our locks are supplied with a nylon plug inside the cylinder housing. � e plugs have diff erent colours:

Drawer position: blue colour Right position: black colour Left position: red colour

� e plug prevents the cylinder housing from being damaged and you just remove the plug and insert the cylinder in this lock position.

”MIC” SYSTEM

INSTALLATION OF CYLINDER INTO EMPTY LOCK BODYWithdraw keys preinserted into the cylinder core because we are supplying all loose cylinder cores complete

with preinserted keys.

Insert into the cylinder the red interchangeable key and insert same into the empty lock body right to the end.

Turn the key 90° and withdraw the red key and insert the normal key into the lock.

The exchange of the cylinder core, insert the red interchangeable key, turn 90° and pull out the cylinder.

KNOB MOUNTING INSTRUCTION FOR LOCK No. 924 ”MIC” AND No. 925

Set the lock in locked position by turning inside the square with a screw driver etc. Insert the door knob into the lockbody taking

care that the square end stays upwards. Insert the pin and press the spring loaded pin inside the square. While doing so press

the knob forward into the square. As the door knob move forward, remove the pin and continue pushing till the door knob clicks

into the square (when the spring loaded pin in the square anchor into the knob axis).

Chipbox is a furniture lock that can be opened touchlessly an electronic chip.

The spring mechanism is driven by an electric motor 3V. Suffi cient electric power to assure 20,000 openings

is supplied by a replaceable lithium cell 3V. Then the lock signals that the cell should be replaced. If this signal

goes unheard, the lock opens with the residual power and remains opened until the used cell is replaced

by a new one.

ELECTRONIC CHIP BOX LOCK

Up to 50 data carriers proxy 125 KHz can be programmed

on each lock and may be deleted at any time.

The scope of delivery covers a striking plate equipped

with a spring that automatically pudhes the door open

after the electronic unlocking.

Although the programming is really uncomplicated, chipbox offers

a maximum protection against its opened by non-authorized persons.

Chipbox may also easily be installed subsequently into the furniture.

The lock automatically recognizes the programming card and the data carrier included in the scope of delivery.

However, programming can be changed at any time, as described in the following.

Programming of the cardPress the programming key (1) of the lock for three seconds until you hear a long acoustic signal followed by a ticking

lasting for approx. 7 seconds. During the ticking signal hold the programming card (8) to the identifi cation zone (3) until

you hear an acoustic signal of recognition. Now the card is programmed.

Programming of the data carrierHold the programming card (8) once to the identifi cation zone (3). A ticking lasting for 7 seconds is to be heard. During

the ticking hold the data carrier (7) to the identifi cation zone (3) for read-in until you hear an acoustic signal of recogni-

tion. Now the data carrier is programmed.

Control the data carrier as to its functioningHold the data carrier (7) to the identifi cation zone (3) until you hear an acoustic recognition signal and until the spring

advances. Hold the data carrier (7) once again tho the identifi cation zone (3) until you hear an acoustic recognition signal

and the opening interval is started.

Delete individual programmed data carriersHold the programming card (8) once to the identifi cation zone (3) until you hear a ticking lasting for approx. 7 seconds.

Hold the data carrier (7) for deletion to the identifi cation area during the ticking until hear a recognition signal. Now the

data carrier is deleted.

Delete all programmed data carriersHold the programming card (8) to the identifi cation zone (3) until you hear four short acoustic signals followed by a long

recognition signal. Now all the programmed data carrier are deleted und the spring has returned into opening position.

Activate or deactivate the acoustic signalPush the programming key (1) for one second.

All settings, for which the programming key (1) is not needed, can be made with the lock already mounted. The

electronics of the lock is able to read the data carrier and the programming card even through materials of up

to 20 mm thickness.

Warning: The correct functioning can only be guaranteed if the lock is mounted on non-conducting materials (wood,

synthetic material) with a max. thickness of 2 0 mm. In case of a higher thickness, with metal doors or doors with a metal

application, anantenna has to be installed.

Battery removalOpen the battery chamber (6), remove the used battery and, in order to avoid a malfunction, wait approx. 30 seconds

before inserting the new battery. Take care of the polarity (+/-) as indicated at the bottom of the battery chamber and on

the battery.

The integrated lithium cell 3V has a useful life of 20,000 openings. Before the cell is used, an acoustic signal

indicates that the cell should be replaced. If this signal goes unheard, the lock is opened with the residual power

and remains opened until the cell is replaced.
