FERVENTLY (ADV.) She fervently wished for a new puppy.
SIEVING (V.) My grandfather was an expert at
sieving the rice.
PRETENSE (N.) She made a pretense of paying
attention in class, but she was actually day dreaming.
INCISING (V.) I began incising the clay with
decorative images.
EMISSARY (N.) The royal emissary has a very
important job to fulfill.
UNOBTRUSIVE (ADJ.) The young man turned down his car
radio so the noise would be unobtrusive to other people in the park.
VIGILANCE (N.) It is important to be in a constant state
of vigilance when you are learning how to drive a car.
FELICITOUS (ADJ.) This is felicitous weather for our
journey!
GARB (N.) His garb was an interesting choice of
patterns and colors.
SURREPTITIOUSLY (ADV.) When you get to the house, sneak in
surreptitiously!
