What do a pair of rabbits and a pinecone have in common?

And how does this relate to your business?

Yes both pinecones and rabbits can be found in the forest, but there is something else they share!

A rabbit pair under ideal circumstances will grow into a rabbit population. The speed at which this population grows can be represented by a Fibonacci sequence. This sequence is shared with the pinecone. The leaves of a pinecone are arranged in a spiral which is also based on a Fibonacci sequence. Nature seems to have its own ways in which to achieve the perfect structure and development. We humans tend to struggle a lot more to find the ideal structure and often lose track as circumstances evolve. This is true both in private and in business life. Taking some time once in a while to critically review yourself is a well worth proven investment.

While we by no means want to pretend that we can match Mother Nature in her efficiency, we do have a lot of experience and expertise in helping our clients improve their business structure.

On the next page you will find some ideas that may be useful when looking for your ideal business structure. Feel free to use them to your advantage or just enjoy the cute picture of the rabbits.

Simplification accelerated by the SBE®Within the SBE model only one entity (the SBE) owns all raw materials and products, regardless of the location of physical storage. All transactions to purchase raw materials and sell products are performed by title of the SBE. In this way the administrative flow of goods and money stays within the SBE, without any physical changes in the supply chain. The SBE has its legal and fiscal consequences, and needs to respect the legal and fiscal legislation in each country. There are several solutions available to tailor these consequences and make the SBE the optimal structure, both operationally as well as fiscally.
