Singing Praise Songs in the zoo

God’s animal kingdom should never be taken for granted or overlooked.

The originally perfect world that God gave to us had no death. Death was introduced when man sinned. This leaves us with the question; What did the first carnivores eat before their was death?

The piranha is one of todayʼs most ferocious carnivores. They hunt in schools of 30 or more, sporting teeth so sharp that they are often used as razors by South American Indians. If they lose a tooth, a complete new set of teeth quickly emerges from the gum. So what would piranhas eat in a world of no death? Imagine having a worship service in the zoo. Just think if the animals could talk! What would they say? Our ministry needs your help. We serve our Creator through your support. As of July 1, we are now an independent ministry. While we will continue to serve as a resource for the origins edu-cation outreach of Coral Ridge Minis-tries, CSI has become a free-standing ministry. This was a mutual decision by both organizations to maximize ef-fectiveness and refine our missions. So now more than ever, we need your partnership. We are first and foremost in need of your prayers, “The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man avai-leth much” (James 5:16 KJV).

Next we ask that you be as generous as possible with your financial gifts. This year our ministry needs to raise $500,000 to continue reaching our communities and the world with the truths of Creation. This message is not only vitally important for our growth as Christians, but also to reach the lost by exposing the lies of evolution and shar-ing the hope of salvation through our Lord, Savior, and Creator Jesus Christ. A donation of at least $50 would be greatly appreciated to help us reach our goal. In gratitude you will receive the two wonderful resources that were mentioned in this letter: Zoo Guide: A Bible-Based Handbook to the Zoo and If the Animals Could Talk. They will cause you and your loved ones to truly celebrate our Creator and His magnifi-cent creations.

As you partner with us for a mini-mum gift of $50 you will receive these two wonderful resources.

At the Zoo: An Admonition — Giving Praise to Darwin’s Evolution During our visit we were bombarded with written information everywhere—on the displays and in the programs—giving praise and honor not to their Creator, but to Dar-win and his theory of evolution. Our community zoos, like our public museums, have been developed for the sole purpose of not just entertaining, but to the indoctrination of the evolutionary teachings that animals changed from the simple to the complex. The platform for these teachings is based on common descent, meaning that all are connected in Darwinʼs tree of life, which dictates that every animal in that zoo has a designated branch or position in the evolutionary hierarchy. The ultimate question of origins is answered, devoid of God, by materialistic natural selection and genetic change. They blindly ignore the Creator that made them and give glory not to God, but to Darwinianʼs evolution. They boldly proclaim the creature's uniqueness as a result of evolutionary processes... There is no praise for Christ, the Creator of the universe and all living things. Everything is His and we are subject to Him, but nowhere in the zoo we visited that day was the Creatorʼs name mentioned. He is ignored and Darwin and his evolution are praised forevermore. This is an abomination to God!!!!

Speaking Out Boldly of His Wonderful WorksWe are not to be silent and passive in this matter. The righteousness of Christ should radiate in our homes, churches, and communities. As it states in Psalms 145:5, “They will speak of the glorious splendor of your majesty, and I will meditate on your wonderful works.” Dr. Kennedy, in the many years I have worked with him, has inspired me to boldly speak out about Godʼs workmanship. He has preached bold-ly from the pulpit, in the spirit of Christ righteousness, against the false teaching of evolution as science. We have seen Dr. Kennedy on TV and heard him on radio broadcasts all over the nation and the world proclaiming God as the Creator—not Evolution. Over the years I have always admired his ability to never cower from the evil one, but face the enemy head on, inspired by the Holy Spirit to “speak of Godʼs glorious splendor.” He did this with excellence, and the many times I spent with him, he was always a great encouragement to me personally and to our ministry. We all need to speak out and start to use our community zoos to give glory to God. Zoo Guide: A Bible-Based Handbook to the ZooThere is always a fascination, particularly for children, to seek out animals we donʼt normally see in our homes or neighborhoods. The zoo is a great place for young, curi-ous minds to witness the assemblages of these unusual creatures from far-off lands. The Zoo Guide, a wonderful resource, is available for parents and grandparents to help share the truth about Godʼs magnificent works with their children and grandchildren. We are commanded to “commend Godʼs works and mighty acts” to the next generation. (Psalm 145:4). Each animal mentioned in the guide is kept in the biblical context of what day it was created. The most unique features of the animals are discussed, along with interesting, fun facts and the possible created “kind” members. This resource is filled with over 100 zoo animals, with emphasis on design and giving glory to God. “They will tell of the power of your awesome works, and I will proclaim your great

deeds” (Psalm 145:6). The Zoo Guide has beautiful pictures of each of the ani-mals, so that children can identify them before they arrive at the zoo. You

will be fascinated by the facts in this resource that supports “created by design,” and demonstrates Godʼs awesomeness.

Noah's final plea for humanity, all are in-vited but who will accept the invitation?

" I wanted to show that the invitation was open to all. It is without partiality or preju-dice, with no limits. Most are rejecting the message. Sadly few would board. I wanted to make a painting that attracts the eye as well as the heart. Many fanciful Noah's Ark paintings have been done thrugh the years. Therefore I focused on accuracy and au-thenticity to attract the mind. Each aspect of the painting tells its own story, such as Noah being a type of Christ. Dressed in a pure white robe he stands with arms out-stretched. A way of salvation has been pre-pared and the invitation is for all to come to the ship of Grace." –Artist, Elfred lee Price: Framed Picture $228.99 Unframed Picture $74.99

“Zebras smile. Their grimace is used to greet other zebras.”

lungs, a high red-blood cell count and high concentration of blood

sugar. These features make the yak able to survive in higher eleva-

tions.” (p. 107)“If the wallaby didnʼt have such a long, thick tail, it would probably

fall over on its nose” (p. 93)“Much of the sloth s̓ fur is covered by a type of algae. The algae help camouflage the animal while it is

in the trees.” (p. 89)“Female llamas will often hum to

If the Animals Could TalkGodʼs awesomeness is everywhere in the zoo and in all of His creatures. Just as the Scripture says “I will meditate on your wonderful works,” (Psalm 145:5). What if we were to meditate, take time, and seriously study these animals? Would we not see how God reveals Himself to us? As I read Dr. Werner Gitt, If Animals Could Talk, I could not help but get a sense that I was being taught by His animals. “But ask now the beasts, and they shall teach thee” (Job 12:7). Gitt, one of my favorite creationist authors and a German Information Scientist, uses the animals to talk to you in his book. Sound childish? Wait until you hear them talk about their fascinating details. Here is how the swallow describes itself: At rest, I breathe something like 26 times a minute. While flying, it goes up to 490! You can well imagine that a normal lung sys-tem wouldnʼt be able to handle the strain. So our Creator figured out something quite unusual for us. Can you imagine going from 26 to 490 beats in that brief moment as the swallow, or for that matter any small bird, flies through the air. As an engineer, you see Gitt focus on detail again and again. That is evolutionʼs biggest menace. I believe that as Christians we need to brag on Godʼs wonderful fine features that He formed with his hands in every creature He made and keep hammering it home to the hearts of our loved ones and to the next generation and the next. When we let the animals talk to us, as Gittʼs animals do in his book, we will come closer to our Creator and see how He cares about every fine detail.

An Appeal to Join the FightAs God reveals Himself through his Word and His Creation, I am convinced we have to step forward in Christʼs righteousness and fight the most important battle on earth. Paul reminds us in Romans 1 of our need for the Gospel. If man does not acknowledge God as his Creator by thanking Him and glorifying Him, he will suffer His judgment. The Church where we gather will disappear, and society will run rapidly to lawless-ness and decadence. The church will be annihilated and the truth that we are made for and saved by our Creator, Jesus Christ will be suppressed. The Gospel and Creation account are intimately connected, and we need to remember this as we move forward boldly to proclaim Godʼs splendor. This ministry is Godʼs and we have turned ev-erything over to Him. Our motivations are simple—we have to speak the truth about our origins and eradicate the lie of evolution that has been propagated in our public schools and has even made its way into our churches. God has given us the vision to combat this lie. We have to be face-to-face, interacting with young and old, through exciting and engaging activities that proclaim the truth of creation. One of the activi-ties that God lead us to involves the Peace River in Florida, where we excavated Ice Age fossils. CSI is continually making the connection between creation and the Creator. We are in the process of producing engaging hands-on elementary curriculum and are planning to publish the first series this winter. Our website is now de-signed to be a resource for those who have questions in any area of Creation studies. There is a section titled Operation Salt, which is designed for teachers and students in public schools to assist them in exposing the fallacies of evolution. We receive many requests from students and teachers who desire to speak out and demonstrate the real prob-lems with evolution, and we need to be in position to help them.

There is an old saying that people seldom remember how rapidly the job was done, but they do appreciate good workmanship. However, the staggering variety and number of things created by God did not limit the elegance of His fine workmanship. The relationship between the snapping shrimp and a fish called the “goby” is a good example of the Creatorʼs attention to the finest detail. The snapping shrimp has very poor eyesight while the goby has excellent eyesight. Both share the same burrow, which is dug by the shrimp and guarded by the goby.

The shrimp uses the goby as a blind person uses a see-ing eye dog. Whenever the shrimp is outside its burrow, it always keeps one antenna on the goby. The shrimp stays hidden inside the burrow if the goby should tem-porarily swim away. When danger approaches, the goby signals and disappears inside the burrow. The shrimp is right behind him. Neither the goby nor the shrimp can survive without each other so pairs are es-tablished for life when both goby and shrimp are very

young. In order for this system to work, the goby and shrimp reproductive systems, which differ greatly, are synchronized so that shrimp and goby youngsters are ready to pair at the same time. This astonishing relationship shows us how our Creatorʼs stan-dards of excellence bring His love to every corner of the creation.

Why all the fuss over how we all got here? What difference does it make if it was God or “Chance”? Evolutionists tell us that the very discipline of science is at stake in this

debate. If God is brought into the picture, so the argument goes, then there wonʼt be any new medical discoveries since evolution is the foundation of modern science. This is a rather humorous argument since science was the product of a Christian worldview and some of the worldʼs most famous scientists were Christians—from Johannes Kepler (1571–1630) and Robert Boyle (1627–1691) to Michael Faraday (1791–1867) and James Clerk Maxwell (1831–1879). While science is important in this debate, there is another consideration that people can more easily grasp. Can morality be accounted for given naturalistic assumptions? If the atheists are right can anything be wrong? Ideas have consequenc-es. What are the real-world consequences if atheists get their way?

Evidences Overwhelmingly Speak, “God Said” There is overwhelming amount of scientific evidence that supports the foundational doctrine of creation and a catastrophic world wide flood as stated in Genesis. These evidences come from the heavens with its vast array of stars and all the heavenly

bodies as well as from the scared and tortured earth that was produced by a devastating world wide flood. The complexity of detail in every living creature on this planet speaks loudly of planned design that could only come from the divine hands of our Creator. For instance the remarkable struc-ture of DNA, an amazing storage house of information, carries the code of life which by its own nature destroys evolution at its very roots. Man created in Godʼs image is the crown of honor. We are secured with a unique eternal plan that defies the horrific lie that the human being is an animal. Christians should be speaking out about Godʼs wonders and against the lie of evolution.

Learn how this debate can be reduced to five powerful proofs that destroy evolutionʼs core belief and that should be taught in every public school.

The Apostle Paul implies that we can learn much about our salvation by carefully observing the pattern of the original cre-ation. Moses wrote that creation began with the movement of the Spirit, who hovered over the waters of the deep (Gen 1:2). He tells us that creation was finished when God rested (Gen 2:1-2). Creation thus occurs between the “unrest” and the “rest” of God. In other words, it is all of God. It is entirely Godʼs work and man is merely the recipient of Godʼs grace and goodness. The conclusion of creation we learn from Job, was that the an-gels called the “morning stars” sang together and shouted for joy in celebrating the creative work of God (Job 38:7).
