Frequently Asked Questions – Booking & Planning
Q1. How does CX manage the limit of passengers to HKG?
A1. All inventory are controlled strictly to ensure that no more than 200 passengers are onboard per flight
across all cabins as per ATB regulations imposed by the authorities. Hence availability in GDS is correct at
time of booking and seat is not confirmed until ticketed.
Q2. Can Work Pass holders travel on ATB flights?
A2. Yes, this is possible as long as the S pass or Work Pass holders are not working in the construction,
marine shipyard or process sectors. Kindly note that an approval letter from ICA is required for long term
pass holders upon returning from HKG to SIN.

Frequently Asked Questions – Booking & Planning (cont’d)
Q3. Can a Hong Kong citizen travel on SIN-HKG ATB flights?
A3. Yes, all nationalities are eligible to travel on SIN-HKG (vv) ATB flights, subject to meeting eligibility
criteria and visa requirements.
Q5. Is there any change to baggage allowance for ATB?
A5. As of current, no change to our standard baggage allowance. However if you have extra baggage or
special items, extra baggage allowances fees may apply.
Q4. If a passenger has filled up the Hong Kong Health Declaration Form in advance and the QR code
given has expired before his/her flight, can he/she reapply?
A4. The QR code of Hong Kong Health Declaration Form is valid for 48 hours only. Hence suggest
passengers to apply within 4 hours to 48 hours prior to departure. Reapplication is required if QR code
has expired.

Frequently Asked Questions – Testing Requirements
Q6. If there is no slot for the test within 72 hours, can CX assist?
A6. Unfortunately, CX is not able to assist in any testing arrangement. However there are more than 400
accredited testing providers across Singapore (here) and we strongly recommend passengers to make
appointments with the testing providers as early as possible.
Q7. Are children exempted from PCR testing?
A7. All children aged 12 and below (in the calendar year) are required to take pre-departure PCR test at
Singapore prior to entering Hong Kong and upon arrival at HKIA.
However all children aged 12 and below are exempted from PCR testing at Hong Kong prior to returning
to Singapore (regardless if total journey is more than 72 hours).

Frequently Asked Questions – Testing Requirements (cont’d)
Q8. What if a passenger is tested Covid-19 positive?
A8. All passengers accepted onboard are required to present a negative test report at time of check-in
prior to departing to or/and leaving Hong Kong, and before cleared at HKIA to enter Hong Kong.
If any passenger is tested Covid-19 positive at any stage of the journey, passenger will be sent to a
government hospital for treatment at own expense and not be allowed to board a flight to/from Singapore.
Passengers are allowed to rebook their flights to a later date when all travel/health requirements are met
at no rebooking fee under Fly (Worry) Free, subject to availability. Fare and taxes differences apply.

Frequently Asked Questions – Suspension & Cancelation
Q9. In the event of ATB flights cancelation or suspended, what protection will be provided?
A9. In the event of ATB flights cancelation or booked flights cannot operate as “bubble flights”, we will
ensure passengers on mid-journey get home by re-assigning them to non-ATB flights. Please note that
normal quarantine procedures apply.
Alternatively, passengers due to travel during the suspension or flights cancelation period could choose to
rebook to other dates or reroute at no change fee under Fly (Worry) Free. If these affected passengers
choose not to rebook, we will handle this as involuntary, where refund is permitted at no refund fee. Please
refer to our standard Schedule Changes Policy for more information.
Q10. In the event of flight delay that results in more than 72 hours, will the test result taken be valid?
A10. Yes, if flight is delayed due to operational reasons, resulting in more than 72 hours since the testing
time until original STD*, the test result is valid on an exceptional basis. No additional testing is required.
*STD: Standard time departure

Q11. What if passengers book now for flights after 31Dec20?

beyond this date.
If passengers booked flights CX759/734 after 31Dec20 and the travel bubble is subsequently extended,
