SIS Simplified Invoicing and Settlement 1 SIMPLIFIED INVOICING AND SETTLEMENT (SIS) PARTICIPATION AGREEMENT JOINING CHECKLIST SIS Participation Agreement Please note that an electronically-fillable version of the SIS Participation Agreement is available on the SIS website www.iata.org/joiningsis. Once filled out, the electronic version of the SIS Participation Agreement and other required documents can be sent to [email protected] to begin the joining process. Two originally signed copies of the participation agreement must be mailed to our office in Montreal (3 copies if Option B of Attachment G is chosen). One signed version will be returned to you. The Agreement must be signed by the appropriate authorities, as per your Compan y’s internal rules and processes. Page 483: Enter the effective date of when you intend to activate your SIS Membership (all participation fees will start to be billed as of this date); provide us with the full address and the legal name of your Airline, which should be the same as the one on your Company Registration. Page 495: Indicate the name of a contact person for any notice to be sent related to the Agreement, including complete address. Page 497: Ensure to print in letters the name, position and date of the person(s) who will sign the agreement. Page 502: Attachment B - Optional Services: pages 19, 20 (all services must be ticked ON or OFF, cannot be blank) Attachment GEU Data Privacy Standard Contractual Clauses Applicable only to companies that are subject to EU data privacy laws - choice between options A OR B, not both (bipartite vs. tripartite agreement). You need to determine if your Airline is subject to the EU law on data protection, these are law requirements in countries that are subjects to the EU data protection law. If you are not sure if you should be signing the attachment G, It would be better to verify with your airline’s legal department. Option A: pages 530, 536, 538, 540 Is a two party contract between IATA and your Airline OR Option B: pages 553, 559, 562, 564 Is a contract between IATA, the participant and sub-processor Accelya Kale (for use only where a tripartite agreement is required). ACCELYA/Kale is IATA’s sub-processor who processes the incoming data from the airlines. If you choose option B then you need to send us another copy of the signed agreement, as one copy will remain with Accelya.

PARTICIPATION AGREEMENT JOINING CHECKLIST

SIS Participation Agreement

Please note that an electronically-fillable version of the SIS Participation Agreement is available on the

SIS website www.iata.org/joiningsis. Once filled out, the electronic version of the SIS Participation

☐ Attachment G—EU Data Privacy Standard Contractual Clauses

Applicable only to companies that are subject to EU data privacy laws - choice between options

A OR B, not both (bipartite vs. tripartite agreement). You need to determine if your Airline is subject

to the EU law on data protection, these are law requirements in countries that are subjects to the

EU data protection law. If you are not sure if you should be signing the attachment G, It would be

Other Requirements

☐ Member Super User form:

This user will be granted administrator access rights associated to their company’s SIS access for

all billing categories (PAX, CGO, MISC and UATP). The user will have the ability to create as

many users as required and grant appropriate permissions to users in IS-Web.

☐ Corporate documents (for corporate compliance purposes)

Original copy of Company Registration (and translation to English)

Current list of owners / shareholders (translated to English on company letterhead)

including:

o Number of shares issued

o Percentage of ownership per shareholder

o Signed by an officer of the company

o If one of the shareholders is a company, we would require the breakdown of the

shares and the passport of each owners

☐ Bank details for Bi-lateral Settlement

Members can choose to provide bank details to appear on invoices where the settlement method is bank transfer / bi-lateral. If you are also joining the IATA Clearing House and would like the same bank details provided for IATA Clearing House settlement to appear on your invoices for bank transfer settlement, simply state this on the form and no signatories will be required Any subsequent changes to the bank account details would require a new Bank Details form to be filled out and signed as per the requirements specified on the form.

☐ iiNET Account Set-up and Connectivity Test

Submission of billing data to SIS can be done manually over the IS-Web interface or through file submission (IS-IDEC, IS-XML). For file submission prior testing and certification testing is required, and can be only done in the SIS Sandbox environment, through iiNET. Please refer to the SIS File Certification for detailed steps on how to perform testing and certification. In order to setup a new iiNET Connection or to reuse an existing iiNET connection for SIS, please contact IATA iiNET team at [email protected]
