Despite what some may claim, let’s set the record straight; none of the

actual lightweight and compact lifts manufacturers, aside from prototypes,

have built or designed their units specifically for tree care or any other

specific markets.

These compact lifts were made following the need to work at heights in

restricted areas. Restrictions caused by space, floor capacity or access.

In Europe, it is a 30-year-old mature market and the relatively recent

presence in North America brought a whole set of opportunities for users,

but with different needs.

The Tree Care industry has been by far the most responsive market for

compact lifts. All adjustments, additions and adaptations we have made on

all Easy Lift units over the years came from genuine users constructive

comments and feedback.

EASY ENGINE SERVICE

SERVICING THE ENGINE Hatz diesel engine are the toughest on earth, built for the most hostile areas, remote countries and harshest conditions. Air Cooled is a perfect match for the hottest and coldest climates and are virtually maintenance free. Kubota offered as well.

Change oil and air filters once in a while and that’s about it. No anti-freeze to worry about, no more clogged radiator fins to take care of, no leaks, no belts or hoses. Keep it simple and enjoy. Want something different ? We will build your Arborist Package model with Honda gas, propane, batteries or even Kubota diesel.

SERVICING THE HYDRAULIC SYSTEM We use only SAE standard pipe North American hoses and fittings; no metric hoses or fitting are used.

All units are equipped with the best high pressure hydraulic filtration system. Instead of filtering the return lines like many others, we strain flow

inward the system to prevent any contamination and protect the system.

Large capacity hydraulic tank with bottom drain plug and sight glass to confirm level. Dedicated pressure ports for pressure reading is a standard feature for all units.

HAULING THE UNIT Light weight and haulable with any standard trailer. Use any ramps or tilt deck trailer from the market; Nothing special, fancy or custom made is required. If you need to buy a trailer, choose something that could be useful for your other business needs. Lift your unit over the bed of your truck or trailer to unload if you don’t have ramps; You could even work from the bed of a truck or trailer. The tie down anchors are located on the lowest part of the chassis, and overbuilt. Ultimately, you can simply use it as a tow behind or bucket truck.

SERVICING THE ELECTRICAL SYSTEM Our simple 12V electrical system use high quality and as simple as possible basic market components. Wires and harnesses are numbered and color coded, made from the best quality heavy gauge available.

All critical junctions are crimped, soldered and weatherproof heat shrinked for long term reliability and durability. Limited usage of ‘plug and play’ connections to avoid corrosion and loose terminals over time.

Control boxes, operational and safety switches are well protected with high IP grade protection, sealed tight and can be power washed.

Our standard automotive 12 volts system will allow you to charge or jumpstart your unit without any hassles. No fancy parts, none or lim-ited electronics, temperamental and sensitive controllers or magic boxes.

We have so much confidence in the quality of our compact lifts that we offer a full 1 year warranty, regardless of hour meter + 3 full years on structural Experience has shown us that from the moment you start working with your new Easy Lift, you will use it more and more every day. The vast majority of our arborist clients add 600 to 900 hours a year to their meter. Among our productivity champions, we can mention Duval Service from QC and AMC Trees from MN with an average of 1400 hours per year since the acquisition of their new lifts. I've had the easy lift 70-36 for 5 seasons now, very well built machine. It

has performed as expected and flawlessly. Takes the wear and tear

I got my Easy Lift June 1st, 2015 and

since that time a lot of hours on it and

the only troubles we had were caused

It’s been a while since I’ve posted anything here, but I felt compelled to share my experience with the folks @ UP Equipment. While I haven’t bought a significant number of brand new pieces of machinery, I have had years of experience trying to work with manufacturers to dial out the bugs and difficulties with heavy machinery. Point being, I have something to compare with. When you’re truly ready to pull the trigger on a compact lift, I feel you owe it to yourself to give UP Equip a call. Their communication and

support has been top notch from the very beginning. I first spoke with Alain Paré. If I understand his position, he

primarily handles sales, although he has gone out of his way to help me whenever I’ve reached out. I’m getting used to bypassing him and contacting other point people within the company, and they have all presented the same positive and helpful attitude. These people would include Martin and Remi. Remi handles tech support, and his guidance has been priceless. He is timely and methodical, making diagnosis and repair in the field feel like a breeze. All that said, I don’t want to convey the notion that I’ve spent hours broken down, wondering how I’ll finish the day. The problems I’ve had with the machine have all been minor and easy to fix. It can feel daunting when something isn’t working and you have no idea how to even diagnose. With the support of UP Equip, I’ve handled every single issue within an hour of reaching out to being back in action. I’ve assembled a small tool kit, consis-ting of 5mm & 6mm Allen Wrenches, a 19mm GearWrench, a Grease Fitting, a Test Light, and small Micrometer. My lunch bag is bigger than this tool kit. Most importantly, I can work with confidence that the dealer support is behind me 100%, and their motto, “Simple Inside”, holds true to the last letter. If you saw the 87-48AJ on display @ Expo last year, you saw my personal machine just days prior to delivery. This machine has made my work with stone dead and crumbling trees in tight locations possible.
