SIMPLE GUIDE TOFUNDRAISINGFOR JUSTICE AND CARE
Thank you for choosing to fundraise for Justice and Care. Whatever fundraising activity you organise will make a huge difference to our
work tackling modern slavery and we are so grateful for your support.
1DECIDE WHAT TO DO
Whoever you are, there’s always something you can do to help raise money for Justice and Care. Whether you’re an adventurer who likes extreme challenges, a party planner who wants to host their own event or a master chef who fancies cooking up a storm, you can find an activity for anyone on our Fundraising Ideas Page.
2
2SET A DATE AND LOCATION
Decide when and where your activity is going to take place. Consider the weather and if you need to book a venue make sure you plan ahead. If you let the owners know it’s a charity event, they might allow you to use it for free.
3
3SET YOURSELF A FUNDRAISING GOAL
Be ambitious! The more you can raise the more lives we can save. But remember to budget accordingly if you’re hosting your own event.

65SPREAD THE WORD
Send your campaign around to friends, family and colleagues. Make sure they know how much you are trying to raise and why, and share on your social media platforms.
6DOWNLOAD ANY FUNDRAISING MATERIALS

7COLLECT YOUR SPONSORSHIP OR ANY OFFLINE DONATIONS
Remember to collect any offline donations and send in along with your sponsorship or donation form so we are able to claim Gift Aid – this means your gift to us could be worth almost 25% more!

8ASK YOUR EMPLOYER ABOUT MATCHED GIVING
Many organisations offer match funding as part of their Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) pro-gramme, including Deutsche Bank, Reuters and HSBC. So ask your employer, they might be able to double your fundraising!
9SEND IN THE MONEY YOU RAISED
After the activity, make sure to send in any donations raised. Please don’t send cash through the post. Bank any cash or cheques made payable to you and then write a cheque pay-able to ‘Justice and Care’ for the amount collected. Send your cheques to:
Justice and Care, Suite 139, 210 Upper Richmond Road, Putney, London, SW15 6NP
OR you can make a direct bank transfer to:
Account Name: Justice and Care LimitedBank Sort Code: 402044Account Number: 41897667
Remember to attach a note of your name and contact details so we can make sure you are thanked!
