She has been honored at the White House for her art and her family’s story has been featured on Oprah. Simone has completed twenty-five public art projects, exhibited at five museums, and exhibited in numerous galleries locally, nationally, and internationally. Simone lives and works in Washington State. She completed her BFA at Central Washington State University while congruently completing a BA in Design. Simone’s work has been exhibited with works from Dale Chihuly, Sonja Blomdahl, Mark Tobey, Merrill Wagner, Layne Goldsmith, Beulah Loomis Hyde, Judith Larzelere and Patricia Spark. Her work is cataloged at the US Government Library of Congress with works from Andy Warhol, Josef Albers, Masami Teraoka, Eric Fischl, Willem de Kooning, Robert Motherwell, Roy Lichtenstein, Alice Neel, Robert Mapplethorpe, Robert Arneson, Joseph Cornell, Helen Frankenthaler, Robert Wilson, Edward Hopper, Robert Rauschenberg and Dale Chihuly.
