MAGNIFICAT SUBSCRIPTION: Those of you who recently subscribed to please make checks out to Sts. Simon & Jude in the amount of $30.00, and put in an envelope marked “Magnificat,” and put in collection or drop off at the Parish Office.

THE GOOD SAMARITAN FOOD PANTRY: Collection item for April is any kind of pasta and canned spaghetti sauce or mac and cheese boxes. We collect these items as a sign of our support for needy families in our area. Each parish family is asked to donate one item for the month.

THE WOMEN’S GROUP will meet Sunday, May 1, at 9:00 a.m., in the Library. There are several upcoming events the group is involved with and could use your help. All women of the Parish are invited!

SAVE THE DATE: The American Red Cross will conduct a Blood Drive here on Monday, May 2, from 1:00-7:00 p.m. Please give the gift of life! The need is great. The sign-up sheet will be in the Gathering Space.

YOUNG ADULT RESOURCE MANAGEMENT SEMINAR: A FREE resource management course geared specifically towards young adults will be given at the Parish on Sunday, May 1, from 6:00-8:00 p.m., as part of the week’s Youth Group Meeting. Topics covered will include basic budgeting, credit cards, time management, succeeding in college and résumé creation. FREE pizza will be provided. All young adult 15 years and older (and their parents) are invited. Graduating High School Seniors are especially encouraged to attend. AROUND USBISHOP READY HIGH SCHOOL PRESENTS: You’re A Good Man, Charlie Brown. The beloved characters from the classic comic “Peanuts” come to life the weekend of April 22-24 on stage at Bishop Ready’s Little Theatre. It’s family-appropriate entertainment that showcases the talents of students in all classes, from freshman through senior, with a cast of 30. Performances are Friday, April 22 and Sunday, April 24, at 7:00 p.m., and Saturday, April 23, at 2:00 p.m. Tickets are $10.00 for adults, $9.00 for those 65+, and $8.00 for students.
