Required
AVIcode Installation Steps
AVIcode.NET Enterprise MP1. Install SEViewer and
Enterprise .NET MP2. Configure groups3. Configure .NET server monitoring4. Import uX MP5. Install uX collector web service on
monitored servers6. Configure uX monitoring on
monitored servers7. Configure uX MP8. Install Advisor reporting
Standalone AVIcode1. Install SEViewer2. Configure SEViewer DB3. Install Agent4. Install uX collector web service5. Install Advisor reporting6. Configure Advisor DB7. Configure server side
application monitoring8. Configure uX monitoring9. Install Advisor reporting
Ensuring Successful Deployment
SEViewer and Advisor minimum requirements
Windows XP and greaterIIS 5.2 and greaterSQL Server Express and SQL 2005 and greaterAdvisor requires SSRS 2005 or greaterASP.NET 2.0
Recommended security settings
Run installs as local system adminSQL server admin rightsConfigure SQL for mixed mode security OperationsMgr DB admin rights (for SCOM deployments)
Installing The .NET MP
The installer for .NET Enterprise MP includes Intercept Studio and MP with components.
AVIcode .NET MP: imports the AVICode MP into SCOM 2007AVICode Intercept SEViewer: installs the AVIcode standalone web consoleAll SCOM consoles: installs on each SCOM console
.NET MP Installation
Specify SEViewer DNS nameDiscovery and Deployment group configuration
Automatically add ‘Windows Computer Group” to the groupsOr manually add individual servers as needed to each group

Agent Installation Options
Methods for installing 1. SCOM - Add Monitor Wizard will use SCOM agent
to pull from SEViewer and perform basic configuration on all server required
2. Manual Install of agent requires downloading and running agent installer then performing basic configuration manually
uX user health monitoring is installed by default but requires manual set-up for SCOM or stand alone.
Standalone Agent Install
