WORK EXPERIENCE December 2015- March 2016 – “The Strand Palace Hotel” Waitress - My main responsibilities here are : welcoming all customers to the restaurant in a friendly and engaging manner, providing prompt, friendly and efficient service, understanding menu content, any menu changes and promotional activities, keeping my service area clean and tidy and well prepared, being responsible for ensuring all customer bills are dealt with accurately, being able to answer guest queries in a polite and helpful manner, ensuring that i adhere to health and safety matters, maximise sales opportunity for food & beverage, increase selling where appropriate.

Receptionist - The main activity here was to welcome the guests arriving at the gym, providing them with information upfront, over the phone or emails, and help the new customers to sign-up. At the end of the day I had to prepare all the accounting documents (invoices, cash book etc.) and once a month all the stock inventory. I also handled all the appointments made for aerobics classes and kangoo jumps.

I am able to work in various environments with people that possess different types of personalities, and I accommodate quickly, that being the direct result of the diversity encountered in my work experience. I'm also a friendly but competitive person. At work, I'm serious and I fulfil my assignments diligently so that everybody is happy by the end of the day . My jobs as a waitress made me stronger and resistant to stress, and taught me how to get out of some very difficult situations.I have a dynamic lifestyle and determination along with perseverance define me in completing my daily work agenda.The strong personality that I possess easily helps me in dealing with the most complex situations which usually have deadlines. The three major qualities that characterize me are: organization, distributive attention to details, multitasking.
