SILVERSEAL® Hydrogel Wound Dressings are flexible, sterile, non-adherent hydrogel dressings that are 0.1cm thick and incorporate the antimicrobial properties of metallic silver coated fiber.

The SILVERSEAL® Hydrogel Wound Dressing is intended for themanagement of wounds and to provide an antimicrobialbarrier. Topical application of SILVERSEAL® Hydrogel WoundDressing protects the wound area and the construction ofSILVERSEAL® Hydrogel Wound Dressing permits the passageof wound fluid through the product to be absorbed by anoverlying absorbent material. The silver provides effectiveprotection of the dressing against microbial contamination.All antibiotic testing claims are the result of in vitro studies,and that the effect of the antibiotic has not been studied ina clinical setting. However, in vitro studies* have shown thatthe silver fiber in SILVERSEAL® Hydrogel Wound Dressing iseffective in resisting the growth of bacteria.1

Directions for UseThe SILVERSEAL® Hydrogel Wound Dressing should be applied directly to the wound, and then covered with aconventional dressing. The SILVERSEAL® Hydrogel WoundDressing is designed to be left in contact with the wound for not longer than 7 days. Discard all opened but unuseddressings. Do not attempt to re-sterilize.
