Using a range of acclaimed documentaries, thechildren learn about the plight of theendangered creatures of our world, and howthey are threatened by hunters and our ownmistreatment of the planet. They research, writeand present arguments to support their ownpoint of view and present it in a serious debateat the end of the course

Working with small groups of up to 12 pupils, our intensive 12 weekcourses, delivered one day a week over a full term, aim to challengeeach child to master each style of writing, and to develop newstrategies for progressing through their personal writing targets. Using arange of amazing topics and movies, the children take part in visits andother practical activities, often with visiting professionals; all as theypush themselves to be the best they can be!

Studying original Hollywood scripts andthe films they went on to be, the childrenstudy the creation, structure andpresentation of a working movie script,taking their thoughts through from idea,to characterization and setting, thenfinally, to the filming of their own scenesfrom the movie!

Creating new worlds, meeting newcharacters, fighting impossibleodds... all of these things will beexplored and imagined through arange of well-loved and amazing filmstories.

Matching the clips to the originaltexts, the pupils step into the shoesof these characters and create theirown amazing adventures!
