There is a group of dedicated Center members who pick the donated baked goods up at Tops, Dash’s, and Paneras.
Without their help you would not be enjoying the sweets that are placed out daily and the specialty breads on
Mondays and Wednesday. A heartfelt thanks goes out to Mary Hauscherr, Galen and Barb Weaver, Jack Meldrum,
Joe Raimondo, Pam Machniak, Gary and Mary Lou Lesser, Paul Corbelli and Donald Marinelli. There is also a
changing group of volunteers, led by Joan Pionessa and Rosemund Ruhland, who prepare these baked goods and
Paula’s Donuts for distribution to members. Other members help in the kitchen and dining room.
If you would like to volunteer to help, let the office know. Any help would be greatly appreciated and is much needed to keep the baked goods coming to the Center. Volunteers are especially needed after special luncheons for clean up.
When you see these volunteers working, please thank them, and, again, be one of those who show their appreciation for everything offered at the Center
