Silo sweep auger SPIROGYRE

The electric motor is mounted verti-

cally over the pivot and drives the

screw through an angled gear box.

This design eliminates the need for a

traditional transmission system (belt

or chain), reducing the source of

wear, heat and possibly sparks. A cover houses the box section construction that maintains the rigi-

dity of the machine and limits the filling of product to enable the

screw to start under the remaining grain once the gravity discharge

has been completed. The screw capacity is adjusted with retractable

windows provided in this cover.

The electric motor and the rotary

collector are protected by a casing. ▼

The central hopper is fixed and accommodates the silo axle that

supports the pivot on which the first part of the screw connects.

The MORILLON silo sweep augers are designed for cereals, paddy rice, oil seeds and possibly for pellets such as wood.

The SPIROGYRE in its parked position - close to the silo door and over the trench.

Light or heavy type wheels for the advance :The movement around the silo is ensured by one or multiple

special wheels designed with rubber plates. The system is driven

by the remaining torque at the end of the screw. The transmis-

sion comprises of a reducer combined with an eccentric arm, a

spring allows adjustment of the torque applied to this wheel. Wheel Type - heavy Wheel Type - light

OPTION HYDRAULIC DRIVES : For the most difficult situa-tions, the SPIROGYRE can be fitted with a hydraulic transmis-sion. MORILLON capitalise on their experience for difficult toflow materials based on the HYDRASCREW (hydraulic screwunloader). The hydraulic design gives direct transmission at lowspeed with high torque for start up.

OPTION HYDRAULIQUESPIROGYRE TYPE "SCD"The electric motor is fixed to the lower part of the hopper underthe silo. The advantage is to have more space available for thematerial flow. This design may also be required in the case of maximum flow capacity during the gravity discharge.
