REGULARITY OF FERRY SERVICE AT THE CASPIAN SEA
The only more or less regular service being the railferry and Ro‐Ro line run by CASPAR to/from Bakuperformed with rail ferries of 28 or 52 wagon capacityand small, out‐dated Ro‐Ros of 33 truck capacity (TIR)*
Lack of schedule for line Ro‐Ro services*
Lack of separate berths intended only for containerand Ro‐Ro vessels in Aktau port result in waiting timesfor Ro‐Ro vessels at roads *
According to the USAID report, the lack oftransparency in charging and pricing policy of Bakuport and CASPAR significantly affects the regularity oftransportations and attractiveness of the Caucasuscorridor in general **
