Window amp Sanitary a neutral silicone-based sealant with a low modulus of elasticity UV ray and atmospheric agent resistant ideal for use with doors and windows compliant with UNI 11673-1 ldquoFitting doors and windows Part 1 project verification requirements and criteriardquoThe presence in the formulation of an antimicrobial agent and an algae inhibitor makes it suitable also for sanitary environments the product is resistant to boiling water and washing with chemically-aggressive detergents thus contributing to surface hygiene Thanks to the neutral skin-over it does not emit unpleasant odours during application releases no acid or base substances that might corrode metal substrates and does not attack paints It gives excellent adhesion on both porous (masonry concrete plaster wood) and non-porous substrates (metal plastic glass painted and glazed surfaces)Window amp Sanitary is classified as a non-structural sealant for glazing (type G) in compliance with EN 15651-2) and for sanitary use (type XS) in compliance with 15651-3 The product awarded the EC 1 Plus label by the GEV association for very low emissions of volatile organic compounds

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE

The sides of the joint must be clean degreased and dry With porous substrates it is recommended to first treat with Primer Silicon With deep dilation joints pad with rigid shaped foam elements before sealing

Apply adhesive tape along the sides of the joint

Insert the cartridge in the application gun open it screw on the spout and cut off the tip to obtain a sufficient aperture

Extrude an abundant quantity of sealant

Smooth off with a damp paint scraper within 5 minutes of application exerting enough pressure to remove any air bubbles

Remove the adhesive tape

Minimum width = 6 mm For joint widths of less than 10 mm the depth must be equal to the width of the joint and in any case not less than 6 mm For joint widths between 10 mm and 20 mm the depth must be at least 10 mm For widths larger than 20 mm the depth must be at least half of the width

Window amp Sanitary is not suitable for structural bonding Not suitable for marble or natural stone substrates In this case use Marble or Universal
