Since 1997, the Varley Art Gallery has featured one of the largest collections of Frederick Horsman Varley's work. Varley was a member of the renowned Group of Seven painters, and lived in Unionville from 1957-1969. The Varley Art Gallery offers high quality exhibitions and educational programs for adults and children, including in-house and outreach programs. Our events and exhibitions engage the community and draw visitors to Markham.

General Information1. Silent Auction tables will close at
7:30 p.m. sharp.2. Clearly print your name, paddle
number and bid amount on the bid sheet. All information must be complete in order for your bid to be valid.
3. All items are subject to a minimum bid.
4. Increases must be in increments by the amount stipulated per item.
5. Each item is sold “as is”, no exchange or refunds.
6. The highest bidder at the item closing becomes the purchaser. The closing bid circled by the auction official constitutes the winning bid. All decisions are final. Winning bids will be displayed in the Introductory Gallery, by the Community Room entrance, and by the front doors to the Gallery at 8:30 p.m.
7. Payment may be made following the posting of the winning bids. Purchases must be paid in full and claimed this evening.
*The entire proceeds of the sale of items marked with an asterisk will be donated to the Varley-McKay Art Foundation.
