PRODUCTION, RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT

HL’s state-of-the-art production plant manufactures all company products in compliance with GMP production

standards and the ISO 9001 quality standard. The production processes at the plant are controlled and supervised

at all times by the QA department, which performs inspections and quality control at all stages of the production

process.

The HL research and development laboratories employ experienced chemists and pharmacists with relevant

the blends of the active ingredients according to the aesthetic condition.

STRENGTH by means of the concentration and ratio between the acids, is marked with Roman numerals from

the lowest (I) to the highest (V).

SUITABILITY by means of special ingredients chosen according to the treatment and skin condition.

The HL's signature protocols are based on 2 peels - WHITE PEEL as the first or second peel during the in-spa

ACTIVE INGREDIENTS

Natural Alpha Hydroxy Acids (lactic, glycolic, citric, malic and tartaric) derived from fruit are considered extremely

effective for renewing and rejuvenating the skin.

Beta Hydroxy Acid (salicylic acid) helps dissolve keratin, acts in the deepest layers of the epidermis and acts as

an anti-inflammatory component.

Retinol, a derivative of Vitamin A, accelerates skin cell renewal, improves blood flow and the supply of oxygen to

the skin and gives the skin an even and glowing tone.

Vitamin C, a powerful antioxidant, bestows a healthy glow and a uniform tone.

Remove any make-up with EYE & LIP MAKEUP REMOVER.

1 - INITIAL CLEANSING

Cleanse with ALPHA-BETA RESTORING SOAP, massage for 2-3 minutes and rinse with water. Pat dry the skin.

2 - PREPARING THE SKIN FOR PEELING

2.1 Apply a uniform layer of WHITE PEEL, place water-soaked cloth compresses over the peeling to

activate the enzymes. Leave on for 7-10 minutes and remove with moist cloth. Pat dry the skin.

2.2 Drip ALPHA-BETA PREPPING LOTION onto a cotton ball and wipe over skin. Wait 2 minutes to

absorb.

3 - PEELING

Pour 5 ml RENEW PEEL into a cosmetic bowl and apply with a cosmetic brush on the face, including the neck.

Avoid the eye contour area. Wait 10 minutes and rinse with cold water. Pat dry the skin.

Note: The peel will cause a stinging or burning sensation and temporary redness, both when applied and washed

off. It is recommended to prepare the client for this before applying the product.

4 - MASK

Apply an even layer of ALPHA-BETA BRIGHTENING MASK, lightly massaging the millicapsules, leave on for 15

minutes and rinse with water. To make the mask removal easier, it is recommended to place a damp towel on top to

soften it and only then proceed to remove the mask. Pat dry the skin.

5 - TREATMENT COMPLETION

Apply ALPHA-BETA RESTORING CREAM.

It is recommended to follow with SUNBRELLA before sun exposure.

DURATION OF TREATMENT: 60 minutes

Professional guidelines:

1. The professional treatment can administered only by an esthetician.

2. The treatment is not suitable for pregnant women.

3. The RENEW PEEL professional peel should be done at an interval of 10-14 days. The treatment should be

repeated twice or more depending on the skin type and condition.

4. In case of skin flaking it is necessary to allow the process to do its course and it is imperative to inform the client

not to peel or pick the skin flakes. Flaking and dryness are normal side effects that are temporary and the skin

will heal at its own rate.

5. Exposure to the sun must be avoided during treatment with ALPHA-BETA WITH RETINOL. In hot countries it is

recommended to use this product line only during the winter months.

6. The products are highly active, in order to guarantee the success of the treatment you must adhere to the

protocol and treatment instructions. Throughout the entire use of the products you should refrain from using any

rich, oil-based creams as it can neutralize the action of the RENEW PEEL.

7. It is necessary to follow the home treatment daily with the recommended ALPHA-BETA WITH RETINOL products.

8. The skin should be protected throughout the treatment using SUNBRELLA or any other sun protection with SPF

15 at least.

Cleanse with PERFECT TIME GENTLE GEL SOAP, massage onto moist skin for 2-3 minutes and rinse thoroughly

with plenty of water. Pat dry the skin.

2 - FIRST PEELING

Pour 5 ml ANTI AGE PEEL into a cosmetic bowl and apply to the skin with a cosmetic brush. Wait 10 minutes and

rinse with water. Pat dry the skin.

Note: During the application and removal of the peel, the client might experience light redness and stinging. This is

temporary and will disappear once treatment is completed. It is recommended to prepare the client before aplying

the product.

3 - SECOND PEELING

Apply a uniform layer of WHITE PEEL, place water-soaked cloth compresses over the peeling to activate the enzymes

in the peeling. Leave on for 7-10 minutes and remove thoroughly with a moist cloth. Pat dry the skin.

4 - MASSAGE

Apply 2-3 drops of PERFECT TIME ADVANCED FIRM & LIFT SERUM and pat gently into the skin, over it add

PERFECT TIME DEEP ACTING NIGHT CREAM and proceed with the lifting facial massage for 10-15 minutes.

Do not rinse the skin at the end of the massage.

5 - MASK

Apply an even layer of the PERFECT TIME FIRMING MASK, leave on for 15 minutes and rinse thoroughly with plenty

of water. Pat dry the skin.

HL PROFESSIONALS' TIPS FOR THE CLINIC

In the HYDRATION as well as the REHABILITATION professional protocols the

ANTI AGE PEEL can be used instead of the ALPHA PEEL especially for treatments

of mature skin, showing wrinkles and lacking elasticity and firmness.

You can incorporate these steps whenever you need to proceed with extraction

during the facial in other HL protocols.

After the respective 1st peeling to prepare the skin before extraction apply A-NOX

SOLUTION and wait 2 minutes for absorption. Over it apply a generous amount of

ALO-GEL and cover the area with small nylon sheets. Leave on for 10 minutes and

gradually remove the nylon sheets removing only the sheet that covers the area of

extraction. Proceed to perform deep cleansing and after extraction disinfect with

HAMAMELIS FACE LOTION.

Important! The REJUVENATION professional protocol should never have an

extraction step.

During the professional facial, you can incorporate the special PHYTOMIDE

REFRESHING EYE CONTOUR MASK to further intensify and enrich the experience

of the facial for your client. During the protocol facial you can carry out a gentle

renewal of the eye contour area as well with the WHITE PEEL, avoiding direct contact

with the eyes, place lukewarm moistened compresses over a generous layer of

peel and leave on for 7-10 minutes then remove thoroughly with a moist cloth and

pat dry the skin. Afterwards proceed with the facial mask avoiding application to

the eye contour area. Once the facial mask is evenly applied, proceed with the

PHYTOMIDE REFRESHING EYE CONTOUR MASK; first apply the gel in gentle

massaging motions and then place the pre-cut eye contour gauze mask. Leave it

on for 15 minutes, remove the pre-cut gauze eye contour mask then gently wash off

cleansed and dry, apply a generous and uniform layer, cover with a lukewarm moist

dry the skin. Follow with the suitable eye contour cream.

For clients in their thirties-forties, that have a persistent dehydrated complexion, it

is recommended to use the VITALISE MOISTURIZING MASK; to apply 2-3 times a

week instead of the night cream.
