About the College

Established under the Institute of Human

Resources Development (IHRD), an autonomous

institution set up by the Government of Kerala, the

College of Engineering Karunagappally started

functioning in the year 2000. College is affiliated to

prestigious Cochin University of Science and

Technology (CUSAT) and recognized by All India

Council for Technical Education (AICTE). The

College offers Four UG and two PG programme in

engineering. It is situated in a picturesque campus

with beautiful flora and fauna, which is only 4 km

away from Karunagappally town and 30 km from

Kollam city.

About the Department

The Department of Electronics &

Communication Engineering has been in existence

since the inception of our college. The department

offers B.Tech in Electronics and Communication

Engineering and M.Tech (Electronics) with

specialization in Signal Processing. We aim at

molding quality engineers with sound knowledge in

the field of Electronics and communication.

About the Programme

Signal Processing is a scientific discipline with its

applications extending to every aspect of life. As a

technology area it is intensively explored both by industry

and academia. The advancements in the field of signal

processing has led to the major technological

developments in the field of communication, medical

technology, man-machine communication etc. Signal

Processing has crept into electronic Gadgets in every

possible way and it has become inevitable for the

electronic engineers to keep track with next generation

scholars of AICTE approved institutions.

http://www.ceknpy.ac.in. The duly filled soft copy of

the form should be sent to the email address of the

coordinators on or before 29/08/2013. The

sponsorship certificate shall be produced at the time

of registration.
