SIGNAL AND TELECOM ACHIVMENTS :- SIGNAL :- Shri Bajrang (SBIPL) siding has been commissioned on 06.03.2014 with Baikunth (West) yard Overhauling of Lever frame have been done at MNDH East Cabin on 21, 22 & 23.04.2013, MNDH West Cabin on 17 & 18.04.2013 and M/Cabin on 13, 14 & 15.02.2014. Signalling cables have been meggered HN, BYL, DPH, BYT, BIA, P-Cabin, LAE, MNDH West, RVH, BXA, LBO, KYS, MDH, URK, AVP, TBD, GDZ, I-Cabin, J-Cabin, E-Cabin, A-Cabin, CEE, RSA, R, SZB, DURG, BQR, DRZ, NPI, KMI, KP Gate & NN Gate. Also 6 Quad cable has been meggered between URK-MDH. Dual detection BPAC has been commissioned on UP & DN line between SZB- KMI along with SSDAC (CEL Make) and DLBI on 17.05.2013 replacing ACBS. Also dual detection BPAC has been commissioned on MID line between SZB- KMI along with SSDAC (CEL Make) and DLBI on 17.05.2013 replacing Analog Axle Counter. Standby Axle Counter CEL Make have been commissioned for the section BQR-BIA (IBAC between BQR to IB & BPAC between IB to BIA) on 06.07.2013, URK-MDH (BPAC between IB to MDH) on 30.07.2013, HN-TLD on UP& DN line (both IBAC & BPAC) on 24.08.2013, BIA-BQR UP line (IBAC between BIA to IB) on 30.10.2013, MDH-URK IBAC on 25.11.2013, DN line between BYT NPI IBAC on 20.11.2013. Standby Axle Counter CEL Make have been commissioned for the section DPH-BSP during Jan'2014.

SIGNAL :-

Overhauling of Lever frame have been done at MNDH East Cabin on 21, 22 &23.04.2013, MNDH West Cabin on 17 & 18.04.2013 and M/Cabin on 13, 14 &15.02.2014.

Signalling cables have been meggered HN, BYL, DPH, BYT, BIA, P-Cabin,

LAE, MNDH West, RVH, BXA, LBO, KYS, MDH, URK, AVP, TBD, GDZ, I-Cabin,J-Cabin, E-Cabin, A-Cabin, CEE, RSA, R, SZB, DURG, BQR, DRZ, NPI, KMI, KPGate & NN Gate. Also 6 Quad cable has been meggered between URK-MDH.

Dual detection BPAC has been commissioned on UP & DN line between SZB-KMI along with SSDAC (CEL Make) and DLBI on 17.05.2013 replacing ACBS.Also dual detection BPAC has been commissioned on MID line between SZB-KMI along with SSDAC (CEL Make) and DLBI on 17.05.2013 replacing AnalogAxle Counter.

Standby Axle Counter CEL Make have been commissioned for the sectionBQR-BIA (IBAC between BQR to IB & BPAC between IB to BIA) on06.07.2013, URK-MDH (BPAC between IB to MDH) on 30.07.2013, HN-TLDon UP& DN line (both IBAC & BPAC) on 24.08.2013, BIA-BQR UP line (IBACbetween BIA to IB) on 30.10.2013, MDH-URK IBAC on 25.11.2013, DN linebetween BYT – NPI IBAC on 20.11.2013.Standby Axle Counter CEL Make have been commissioned for the sectionDPH-BSP during Jan'2014.

“Sliding Barriers” have been commissioned at BPHB Gate, Gate No. 441 atKm 856/25-27 between BIA-BQR, KP Gate, Gate No. 440 at Km 855/7-9between BIA-BQR, KMI Gate No. 429 at 840/1-3, Gate No. 430 at 842/8-10,Gate no. 419 at KM 832/12-14, Gate No. 425 at KM 829/1B–3B on date22.11.2013, LC gate no. 384 at KM 764.197.

Non-functioning LC Gate No. RV-10 at Km 15/12 at MNDH yard for Sidinghas been made functional on 25.06.2013. Also two (02) nos. Winchoperated LC Gate No. RV 10 at Km 15/12-13 at MNDH has been convertedinto motor operated LC Gate and commissioned on date 26.11.2013.

Safety/System integrity test has been done at DPH (PI) from 28.06.2013 to30.06.2013, I-Cabin (LF) on 25.06.2013, DGS (03.09.2013 & 08.09.2013),CLW (26 & 27.09.2013), LAE & SZB.

Data Logger has been commissioned at LAE with Networking on 03.08.2013.

Token Less Block Instrument for the section SZB-KMI at SZB, HN E/O- HNSM-IV at HN E/O and HN E/O- HN SM-IV at HN-SM-IV. Double Line BlockInstrument has been replaced at NPI for the section NPI-BYT, MDH WestCabin for the section MDH-URK and SLH West Cabin for the section SLH-MDH.

Earth Leakage Detectors have been provided at BQR, BIA, KMI, A-Cabin, C-Cabin, D-Cabin, H-Cabin, G-Cabin, DUG & DLBS (02 sets at eachstation/cabin).

57 nos. of IRS type Point Machines have been replaced with groundconnection at DGS (11), NPI (14), KMI (05), DURG (11), DGS (01), R (01),BIA (05), BQR (02), DLBS (01), E-Cabin (01) in view of codal life.Siemens make Point Machines have been replaced with IRS Point machinesalong with conversion of 60 Kg PSC layout from 90R wooden layout at CEE(Point no. 106B, 108, 102B, 104, 103, 112, 109A, 109B, 110A & 110B) & CLE(Point no. 109A & 101A). Conversion of PSC layout from wooden layout hasbeen done at NPI (Point no. 59B).

Directive Maintenance has been done at DUG, MNDH, BYT, URK/E, URK/W,KMI, DGS, TLD, C-Cab, RSA, GDZ, LAE, LBO, H-Cabin, DPH, DGS, SLH, TLD,TBD, MDH, AVP, D-Cab, KYS, DRZ, BXA , M-Cab,BKTH ,R, BYL, NPI,HN(E/O), BIA, G/Cab, A/Cab ,MXA, HN, SZB, BQR, E-CAB, F-CAB, HN, SM-IV,CEE, CEW, I-CAB, RVH, P-Cabin & RSD.

1X18C signalling cable has been repaired of UP Distant signal at KYS (500mtrs), 1X24C cable of UP & DN Distant signals at KYS (300 mtrs) and 1X12Ccable of Outer signal at MNDH West Cabin (435 mtrs) 150mtrs 18C cable hasbeen laid from Goomty to Point no. 115A at CLE , 10mtrs 12C cable has beenlaid from SH-9 signal post to Location box at A-Cab and 50mtrs 24C cablefrom ‘P’ Goomty to A/C location old defective cable replaced.

‘TPZR’ circuits have been introduced in Point circuit at DPH on 16.04.2013(East side) & 25.04.2013 (West side), BYL (15.07.2013), BYT E/Cabin(24.08.2013), BYT W/Cabin (10.09.2013), DGS (26 & 28.10.2013).

TELECOM:-

150mtrs OFC & 6Quad cable has been laid at DD-14 on 27.04.2013 & DD-11on 21.04.2013 in connection with RUB work in between MXA-RSA.130 mtrs of OFC & 6 Quad cables have been diverted at LC Gate no. DD-47at Km 922/2-3 between LBO-BXA & LC Gate no. DD-42 at Km 913/1-2between GDZ-LBO in connection with RUB work 05 Km of 6 Quad cablelaying was done for replacement of defective 4 Quad cable between NPI-DGS

650 mtrs of new 50 pair JF cable & OFC cables have been laid at WRS colonyfor communication between GSD & Old DRM Complex Exchange.

Webfil mux has been provided for Hotline line working between KMI-SZB.

New 25Watt VHF set has been provided at F-Cabin on 28.09.2013.

BSNL MLLN Modem commissioned at KWDA on 26.10.13.

Up gradation of Webfil mux done at BIA Exchange on 21.11.2013, BQR on22.11.2013, DUG on 23.11.2013, BMY on 24.11.2013 & KMI on 25.11.2013,RRI BSP, BSP Exchange, URK, SZB, DRM Office, MDH, SLH, EngineeringColony Exchange Raipur on dated (18 to 25.12.2013) and BPHB Station on09.03.2014.Webfil mux commissioned at Raipur on June'2013 and connected with Webfilmux of MNDH-LAE during June'2013.

New UTS counter connection provided at KMI station.

Raipur - Silyari FOIS connection new link has been established.

Upgradation of 18 Nos. CGS boards have been done at DURG

03 Nos DSLAM equipments have been installed at BMY exchange (02 nos.)and Raipur exhange (01 no).

02 MBPS Data circuit for UTS has been commissioned between R-LAE.

02 MBPS Railtel Protection path provided between R-LAE for control circuitson 27.11.2013.

Innovative works done by S&T department in Raipur division:

1. Earlier there was no method for monitoring of timely inspection of Points andCrossing Jointly by PWI, BSI and SSE/TRD. Hence, at many stations it wasfound during inspection that Joint Inspections of Points, Crossing andElectrical bonds were being done well after due date.

In order to give timely information/reminder to sectional PWI, BSI andSSE/TRD for due Joint Inspection a web page has been developed whichgenerates SMS to the CUG numbers of concerned supervisors 4 days inadvance of due Joint Inspections. By this method we have achieved largereduction in overdue Joint Inspections which are vital for safety equipmentse.g. Points, Crossings and Electrical bonds etc.

2. Creation of new web page to monitor the maintenance and safety checkingactivities of S&T gadgets through S&T/disconnections and generation ofmobile SMS to S&T supervisors for maintenance activities of each and everygear being overdue and also to Traffic Inspectors for S&T/disconnectionsbeing ‘Not Allowed’ on daily basis. This has resulted in increase inmaintenance through disconnections in Raipur division. At present, Raipurdivision avails disconnections for maintenance at thrice the rate ofBilaspur division which has resulted in increase in safety of trainoperation.

CCTV Cameras have been installed at 05 locations viz. PRS at Raipur, UTS atRaipur, Parcel Office at Raipur, PRS at Pandri Raipur and University at Raipurfor surveillance of monitory transactions.
