Product Description

• Oracle BI Publisher minimizes the high costs associated with thedevelopment, customization and maintenance of business documents; while increasing the efficiency of reports management.

• Oracle BI Publisher reduces a company's dependency on third party software systems that are required to format business documents, reducing the complexity. Utilizing a set of familiar desktop tools such as Adobe Acrobat and Microsoft Office users can create and maintain their own report formats based on data extracts supplied by a multitude of sources.

BI Publisher and Proposals

Siebel Proposals with embedded ReportsPost CY 2009, Proposal documents with embedded reports will not function. Alternatively, BI Publisher should be used to create mixed content documents. BI Publisher is planned as the long term solution for Siebel Proposals containing embedded data sections. The conversion tool can be used to convert reports used with Proposals into BI Publisher template.
