In today's Automotive World, we need to adopt eco-friendly technologies, enhancesafety and ensure connectivity of vehicles. This is all possible if we innovate andcollaborate to shape our products. The use of Information and CommunicationTechnology (ICT) has forced development speeds to unprecedented levels, andour customers' demands continue to rise as they remain connected to easilyavailable information and grow increasingly knowledgeable.
Symposium on International Automotive Technology (SIAT) is a benchmark eventorganized by ARAI biennially. SIAT serves as an important forum for exchange ofideas and brainstorming for the automotive industry. Over the years, the event hasgrown in stature and is now considered as a prestigious automotive event markedby presence of global automotive fraternity.
The forthcoming 14 Symposium on International Automotive Technology (SIAT2015) is scheduled at ARAI, Pune, (India) from 21 to 24 January 2015. It willconcentrate on technologies for safer, cleaner and quieter vehicles with enhancedconnectivity. It will also focus on innovative advancements in automotivetechnologies to meet future challenges.
SIAT provides common platform for national & international experts to share theirthoughts and innovative ideas concerning developments in various fields of theautomotive technology. It assembles the best talent in the Automotive Industry,who will join hands to collaborate and deliberate the current challenges to promotethe multitude of opportunities for a successful automotive industry.
SIAT EXPO 2015, being organized concurrently, offers appropriate platform toautomotive and allied companies to display their products / technologies /innovation / services through various stalls.
I have great pleasure in bringing out this First Announcement of SIAT 2015. Itinvites professionals, engineers and academicians to present their work in the fieldof automotive technology in this Symposium. Abstracts of papers are to be sent to the Convener at on or before Wednesday, 30th
April 2014. Abstract should be limited to maximum 300 words, emphasizing significance of analytical /
experimental study and originality of the contribution with results. Later on, the authors would be required to
submit the same abstract at under .
Abstracts will be evaluated by a Technical Paper Review Committee (TPRC). Draft manuscripts of selected
abstracts will be invited for evaluation according to SAE technical paper quality guidelines.
REFERENCE TECHNICAL BULLETIN
Reference Technical Bulletin comprising of technical articles, advertisements, etc. will be published tocommemorate SIAT 2015. It will provide an opportunity for sharing various technical advancements inautomotive technology. Technical notes, case studies, product information, etc., are invited for inclusion in thisReference Technical Bulletin.

SIAT EXPO 2015
A grand exposition of automotive technology, products and equipment pertaining to Auto Industry, is beingorganized concurrent to SIAT 2015.
The exposition will attract automotive OEMs, Tier - I, Tier - II and Tier - III suppliers, equipment providers,CAD/CAM/CAE tool providers and other service providers to showcase their products and servicecapabilities. This time over 165 exhibition stalls are available for booking.
This exposition is open to all automotive personnel and interested individuals and will be an excellentopportunity for promotion of business and dissemination of information.
